The Corbyn example you have given - which doesn't appear to be a direct quote, but lets assume it's verbatim - is an argument about what people are planning to do, or likely to do, in the future. Since in your own post you admit that the Tories have, in fact, privatised parts of the NHS, and there are plans to move further services out of the public sector, it does not appear to be a lie at all. We would need an actual quote to parse this any further. Johnson's example is of him repeating one particular statistic after the director of the Office of National Statistics wrote to him twice to tell him that he was intentionally misleading the public and needed to knock it off.
Mic09
What about this as an example from Labour? "We will end austerity". That is a lie - should it be persecuted?

Xann
Quote Turkey's hopes of joining the European Union are fading, the bloc's executive has said, noting worse conditions in courts, prisons and the economy, but Ankara rejected the criticisms as "unfair" and "disproportionate". Still considered a security ally, Turkey's candidacy to join the world's largest trading group is frozen because of "further serious backsliding" on rights, the judiciary and economic policy, the EU Commission said in its annual progress report on Wednesday. 'Austerity' is a semantic construct to describe the Conservatives willful dismantling of public services and social support. They implement 'austerity' whenever they are in government. They've claimed to have ended 'austerity', when in fact they've continued to implement 'austerity'. What is the tangible defining line for where 'austerity' begins and ends? There isn't one. They might come up with another word for it soon. It might be that they're making 'efficiency savings', more likely that they're 'implementing the will of the people'. Whatever. All it ever ends up with them mucking the country up. Sorry, off topic.

ml1dch
Brits in rEurope, worry no longer. Prime Minister Leadsom is just going to pass a law in Parliament saying that all their rights in whichever country they live won't change. Can't think why they didn't think of it before.

Should be amusing at least Hearing delayed after the judge recused herself to avoid accusations of a conflict of interest.
