Meanwhile in Berlin, Macron calls for; closer ties, taxation to be set by EU, budgets to be set by EU and an EU army.

Golly! it couldn't be cos countries like the UK and Luxembourg are diddling the system?

An EU army eh. Wonder Why?

Our army, being a public service, has been run run into the ground by the Tories of course.

Former UK service chiefs have launched a devastating critique of the state of British forces, saying they were no longer fit for purpose and that the army was 20 years out of date.

Gen Sir Richard Barrons, who retired last year as commander of joint forces command, said the armed forces were close to breaking point, with the navy underfunded and the air force at the edge of its engineering capacity.

Barrons, speaking alongside counterparts from the navy and air force, was giving evidence to a House of Commons defence committee investigation into the latest defence review, which is scheduled to announce its findings next month and which will almost certainly mean more cuts.

the worrying thing about the jumping the queue comments is that it almost suggests that she doesn't know why people migrate here in the 1st place

its not software developers in poland getting paid £3 an hour minimum wage looking at jobs in the UK thinking our software developers get paid £7.83 an hour

the queue they are jumping are working class jobs not taken by the non working class of this country or thanks to skills shortages created in this country (construction industry for example)

the silver lining of brexit has to be an overhaul of benefits, apprenticeships, a change in education for low skilled workers, back to work schemes, end of 0 hour contracts and better jobs because if it doesnt then the demand for migrant labour is going to be exactly the same, she can label it as picking people based on talents and skills but planes full of plasterers from sydney isn't happening, it will be eastern european workers still coming here just under different rules

FTFY. If we want FTDs with non EU Countries, Freedom of movement will come with those deals, that's the absolute insanity of this

Your fix is right. It's true that it won't be Eastern Europeans coming for a pay rise of a few quid per hour (especially with the Polish economy doing well). It's going to be people from India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and so on, and Brexiters are going to absolutely hate it.

I've talked about this before, but young Poles simply aren't leaving because the cities are growing at such a pace, and with so many major companies.

My company is now over 2000 employees. I would hazard a guess at 90% Polish and 70% 35 or under.
