maybe the fans are a bit OTT but they travelled down to Wycombe and Sunderland last week to see a better performance than that and that is probably the majority of their weekend is spent going to the game

So that's an excuse to be pricks then?

The fans in that video are shocking but this is what happens when the club refuses to communicate with fans, the anger spills over into stupidity. I think the players smiling and laughing as they got on the coach should be sacked or publicly disciplined. If Remi had anything about him he would have stopped and put the fans in their place. Imagine what clough or fergie would have done in that situation

I suspect that they're probably the kind that act like that even when we're 2-0 up.  You know the ones that just go to the football to abuse people as a hobby.  Even as shit as we are, it isn't going to help at all and nobody really deserves abuse like that.

Well Clough would've floored them, so I don't think that would've been a helpful reaction.

Huge problems at our club

And i guess the question is whether the problems are responsible for us losing, or whether losing is responsible for the problems.

Until we win a game (or two) it'll be difficult to get a clear view of anything. You don't make decisions on how to decorate the house when it's on fire.

We've got loads of problems, but here are a few that Garde has at the moment and can't solve without signing new players and a fresh start:

*Goalkeeper. Guzan had been subpar for years and Bunn doesn't seem fancied, although I'd give him a shot, he did okay today. Guzan is jittery and makes the defence jittery.

*Holding midfield. Sanchez is absolute dross, Gana and Westwood are too lightweight and not good enough for the role. The defence are not very well protected.

*Strikers. Gestede. Jesus wept. He's awful. We'd definitely be better off with Kozak in the team, but he's not quite imposing enough at the target man stuff which is why I suspect Gestede still gets a game.

*Nerves. Mistakes. Poor decisions. Are a factor in all teams, our team were rock bottom in terms of morale when Garde came in. He's not been able to find a way of cutting out the ridiculous turn overs and mistakes. We're getting into 'trying too hard' territory now.

*Too many players surplus to requirements. From an ex footballer 'it only takes one to ruin a dressing room'. We seem to have 5 or 6 at any given time in any given season.

We need some fresh blood. I was pleased to see Lydon get his debut today. But we need more. We need people that are not battered by our situation. Unfortunately, root and branch change is impossible mid season.

Garde looked mightily pissed off today for the first time. That was clearly frustration at his players that he has been holding in. I think they are trying, but they're not capable of doing what he wants.

You can't blame Garde for sticking to his guns and trying to impose his philosophy on the team (although I am struggling to see what that is frankly). That was what he was employed to do and that is what he knows. If Fox wanted a relegation specialist manager to come in and play percentage football, he would have employed one.

Whether that is a mistake is difficult to judge.

If nothing really improves from now till the end I'd get Pearson in the summer. He played decent football with Leicester getting them promoted and eventually keeping us up. Not the man to build something long term, but get him to get us back in and survive and then move on.

If Remi doesn't show anything soon then I see little point to just have faith in him for the future.

Both are feeding off each other
