Demitri_C Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Temporary manager, glad Villa have kept him on. but please god not as permement manager. Come on K-Mac bring back our villa
Swerbs Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 We won't pick up any points with him, just hope we make a quick appointment.
Demitri_C Posted October 25, 2015 Author Posted October 25, 2015 Warming the seat for MoyesyIf Moyes comes in this will be biggest appointment since MON, praying
Zatman Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Warming the seat for Moyesy If Moyes comes in this will be biggest appointment since MON, praying I dont know which part is more worrying MON appointment was the most underwhelming moment in Villa history for me. getting a new owner and hiring an average 1 dimensional long ball manager who had mainly success in Scotland
VillaChris Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Going back to 2010 I actually think he would've got the job if Newcastle 6-0 wouldn't have happened, at least for the season but that hammering change everything.I imagine he'll just take over for the cup game, we should get in someone before the Spurs game surely?
Dr_Pangloss Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Newcastle collapse aside he didn't do a bad job last time around. He's a respected guy so it's the best choice, the one I said we should make yesterday. He knows his role and will do his best.
Zatman Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 didnt we also lose to Rapid Vienna with him in charge
Demitri_C Posted October 25, 2015 Author Posted October 25, 2015 Warming the seat for Moyesy If Moyes comes in this will be biggest appointment since MON, praying I dont know which part is more worrying MON appointment was the most underwhelming moment in Villa history for me. getting a new owner and hiring an average 1 dimensional long ball manager who had mainly success in Scotland I am talking about last 10 years Zatman should have highlighed that in the post. Of course not in our history. Moyes would be a massive coup for us considering where we are in the league. i am hopeful that he has agreed to come hence the early sacking of Sherwood
Zatman Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 I wouldnt be hopeful he is winning 2-0 at moment to keep Sociedad in heady heights of 15thMoyes for me is a manager finished at top level just like MON 2
VillaChris Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 didnt we also lose to Rapid Vienna with him in chargeYes that was 4 days after Newcastle so no chance we could give him the job after those two.
jonno_2004 Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Managed the most complete Villa performance I can remember in recent memory in the 3-0 against West Ham (although we did have Milner) - then proceeded to get thumped 6-0 by Newcastle and played the strangest formation I've ever seen against Rapid Vienna. At least we probably weren't expecting to get any points in the upcoming games...
jacketspuds Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Bottom now under his leadership. K-MAC out!!! 1
John Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 K-Mac would be OK for a week but not beyond that.
lexicon Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Kevin MacCaretaker! Welcome back for a short while.
Villastine Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Well I think he'll be giving Clark and Gardner a start in the cup. 1
KHV Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 didnt we also lose to Rapid Vienna with him in chargeyeah
Stevo985 Posted October 26, 2015 VT Supporter Posted October 26, 2015 Warming the seat for Moyesy If Moyes comes in this will be biggest appointment since MON, praying I dont know which part is more worrying MON appointment was the most underwhelming moment in Villa history for me. getting a new owner and hiring an average 1 dimensional long ball manager who had mainly success in Scotland On reflection that may be true. But at the time I very much doubt you felt like that. 1
