Sunderland have appointed Dick Advocaat as manager.....

Whenever I hear the name Advocaat, I remember Euro 2004 where he substituted a rampaging Robben while up 2-1 against the Czech republic, effectively handing them the initiative and eventually losing the game 2-3.

This could be a good thing!

I remember the horrible yellow eggy crap my nan used to pull out at Christmas, festive drink my arse.

QPR game will now be played on the 7th April. So United, QPR, Spurs and City.

Really fantastic news that.

Yes, glad this isn't going into the last few games and increasing the tension attached to it, and also breaking up that horrible run of away games to tough sides.

Also, QPR are up here to play the Baggies on the Saturday, so two consecutive away games in the West Mids for them in the space of four days.

Hmm...

Perfect timing for that game! Gives the team a chance to secure points early and break a potentially bad streak of losses. We know how it can affect morale, so it's important to avoid these. Win against Swansea and QPR and they can concentrate solely on the FA cup.

It means QPR will have to play ourselves and wba both away, and then Chelsea in space of eight days as well. They then have a derby v West Ham followed by two away games against Liverpool and Man City, it's going to be really tough for them to stay in the division.

Indeed

No-one likes to have a game in hand right up until the last week of the season. Especially if it's a 6 pointer, it would just add pressure
