Paul Lambert

Could it be that as these two did the tactics and team selection and these have been the biggest bone of contention with us that the players also are not happy with the situation. just looking at the way we have been playing recently it is as if we have the brakes on and the players are not giving their all, Could it be that PL will remain a figure head till the end of the season and SID and Shay will sort the rest out. maybe Saturdays match will show us.

A slightly reasonable idea. If they were the ones who set up the team, that would explain a lot since that's been my biggest bone of contention with Lambert

Those 5 might be bought cheap and are all on cheap (for PL standard) wages, but we could have had 1 good player for the same money instead of those 5.

What if that one player got injured? Lambert had to build a squad.
Building a squad of poor players is about as much use as a chocolate teapot.

The playerd quoted were Luna, Sylla, Bowery, Helenius and Tonev.

Luna - who we raved about at the start of the season

Sylla - Who many say was a kep reason we stayed up last season, with his performances at the end.

Bowery - Fair enough, indefensible.

Helenius - who many want called up to the first team.

Tonev - same as helenius

Would certainly say they're more useful than a chocolate teapot.

You have just clarified my point.

Luna - you refer to in the past tense and he can't get past Bertrand and Bennett.

Sylla - you refer to his performances last season. If he was any good he would be performing now.

Bowery - you've got it.

Helenius - struggles to make the bench so even though Lambert signed him he can't justify selecting him.

Tonev - as above and loves row Z.

Tonev has some god awful decision making, he might need games but he's not developing under Lambert's instruction and looks as clueless every game.

Sylla wasn't impressive at all last year, he improved but definitley not a key reason.

Helenius, fair enough, got no real chance...looks pretty short of confidence and because of this short on ability too.

Luna was raved about because he wasn't Bennet...his defensive 'abilities' were shown in the end.

Bowery, not really got mintues to show what he can/cannot do, doesn't look brilliant and has taken the place youth players, he'll get extra hate for that.

I'd say perhaps chocolate teapot is a fair comparison.

If we were so worried about wages we should have just loaned players....Bertrand anyone?

rather than read the last 15 or 20 pages from the last 4 hours does someone want to sum it up for me what people are thinking?

It was a bold move killing Joffrey off but it was probably for the best.

Surely we want a Lannister as new owner, they're the ones with all the money.
