He has been poor since the end of the first season. Not a knee jerk reaction to this game, a genuine point. He hasn't looked good since 2012. 2012? Seriously? Oh look a third, another depressing Saturday evening. Anfield feels a long time ago now, doesn't it? Yes. 2013 looked average at best and then got a long term injury. Looks a shadow of the confident 'beast' prowling in that first season. From January 13 to the end of that season only Ronaldo and Messi scored more goals in the top flight. We've picked up 3 points from them, and haven't lost to anybody outside last seasons top 5 yet.
