Haha, oops, I had it mixed up with Baby's Day OUt obviously 3 is your favourite? That's ludicrous. I hate it. It's way too obvious, and just doesn't really fit in with the rest of the trilogy. jonno_2004
I would have thought Starship Troopers would have been in my top 10 circa 2001, and never in there again. Watched it the other week and safe to say it's still there. Must be the lingering effect of those films that have a real impact on you as a kid. Real guilty pleasure.
samjp26
In no particular order, off the top of my head: The Godfather Part II Alien Batman (1989) Rocky IV Scarface Casino White Men Can't Jump Star Wars: A New Hope Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back Star Wars: Return of The Jedi I think anyway.. I'd say those are the films I have enjoyed the most throughout my lifetime, rather than the "best" pieces of film I have witnessed per se. villa4europe
1. Empire strikes back 2. Aliens 3. Heat 4. Schindlers list 5. Goodfellas 6. Matrix 7. City of God 8. Jurassic Park 9. Terminator 2 10. Snatch special mention to spirited away, toy story, seven, die hard, pans labyrinth, far too many, i could probably do a top 100 list lord of the rings didnt make my list because i can only watch the extended editions empire strikes back - opening scenes on hoth are amazing, the big reveal, my favourite line in a film ever "i love you" "i know" and the baddies win! villa4europe
Return of the Jedi > Empire Strikes Back GTFO! from what i can remember GL 2nd hand man quit for ROTJ claiming that lucas was more interested in merchandise than he was the films, didnt end the way it should have done and IMO they butchered han solo and i think the main 3 actors weren't entirely sold on the whole film, its not exactly a trilogy of great acting but it dips big time for ROTJ Edited October 13, 2014 by villa4europe
