Rugeley Villa Posted January 30, 2016 Share Posted January 30, 2016 one for the skeptics as there are plenty on here went up my grandads today and we were nattering about whatever and he said oh yeah the other night in bed i saw your gran. now hes a pretty level headed bloke and not one for all this ghost stuff but he said he woke up through the night which he normally does and was just lay on his side, he said the time was just after 3 as he noticed the time on the bedside clock and he just had this urge to roll over on his otherside,and when he did my gran was standing next to the bed staring at him. he lay there for a few seconds staring at her and he watched her fade away. apparantly it was her in her 40s and was just dressed in her normal clothes. he was definitely awake and was not scared one bit, when she faded away he just turned back over and went back to sleep. since shes died this is the first time anything like that has happened to him. skeptics will say he was half asleep or imagined it and he may well have but according to him it was real and as stated hes not one for ghosts etc etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yeah, not wanting an argument, but just as in this case I don't see how people can start off by saying "well I don't believe in ghosts, I'm not one for ghosts", then say "well I wasn't dreaming or imagining it " So by definition he IS one for ghosts. See, I'm not one for ghosts, so I can't consider it was a ghost. Simple. He can "be one for ghosts" and think it was a ghost, fine. Or he can "not be one for ghosts, and not think it was ghost, but not a bit of both surely. Beliefs should be based on evidence mate. If ghosts existed then it would be a doddle to prove.
