Albrighton only one to come away with credit. Must start on tuesday night , in place of Gabby who didnt look fit. May aswell of played with 10 because he literally did nothing but miscontrol a great chance.

Benteke back to missing his chances, had 4 very promising chances. Midfield were poor as per usual and the goals were both avoidable. Disgusted and sickening this has happened again, our home form is unreal over the last few seasons. Good job weve learned the art of nicking points on the road

Benteke is still nowhere near where he should be. If he plays well, so does Andi and others too.

Delph messed up royally for the second goal. It's been coming the way he dribbles as last man. Not smart.

Bertrand, my favorite, got fleeced in the first one. Not his best game.

Did Gabby play? Bacuna?

Clark and Baker were ok, Clark was actually quite good.

Albi was hungry, and MotM.

We should be more aggressive from the beginning, show our dominance at home. We don't do that, and visitors grow in confidence.

Poor game overall.

Ah if we go down we may win a few games. Id rather be competing in the championship than facing another relegation battle tbh.

Who says we wouldn't face another relegation battle in the Championship?

You have to wonder how there can be so many teams behind us in the table? Premier League has never been worse in terms of quality.

Because we somehow beat Soton and Man city.

West Ham beat us with 2 shots on target and 32% possession so I guess they didn't deserve the win then like we obviously didn't vs City or Southampton.........

we gave them the points on a silver platter. you deserve to lose when you do that

Defeat to west ham at villa park!

Relegation beckons. Lambert really is clueless.

To all those who told me we didnt need another cb in jan please look at todays cbs and tell me youre happy? Neither are competent at cb and without vlaar our defence is useless.

eh the two centre backs played good today, we were let down by our tactics and individual errors

Agbonlahor did NOTHING the entire game.

Delph has actually cost us a few times losing the ball in shocking positions.

Albrighton the so called championship player by loads of people on here what obviously our best player...

By god Lambert... Today... No width until Albrighton came on... Seriously... Just shocking tactics... Not good enough. We really need a different team for home games. Some players just don't turn up.

Big Sam nailed Lambert today, better tactics.

Not really. Lambert saw a problem at attempted to correct it with Albrighton and it almost paid off. West Ham just sat back as we wasted chances.

Problem is we all saw the problem 30 mins before lambert did. And by the time he made changes it was too late.

Lamberts problem is pride and ego. It was clear in the first 20mins hed got it wrong but he waited until we were 2 down to change it. Should have changed it first half but nope...

The standard home game from the last 36 months, no bottle, no desire, no heart until Albrighton came on.

When will these players realise how lucky they are to play at villa park? Westwood was shite again, lowton looked confused all game, bacuna needs a settled position.

Gabby - absolute rubbish

Benteke - missed 4 clear cut chances

the most depressing thing, todays game was expected.

And be financially crippled in the process.

Not overly bothered at the moment tbh. We are acting like a financially crippled club for the last few years anyway.

Downing and Collins are double winners today. Won the game and got away from this festering shitfest of a club.Performances in this club just keep getting worse apart from the pretend manager who has been w**k from day one.
