Without doubt overall the worst Villa side I can remember in 50 years. Totally no quality anywhere on the pitch or in the dugout including the directors box. Football stinks. No loyalty any more. Had anyone heard of him before last season?? I've got to start thinking of this as a business not a game. Problem is that i've never had passion for a business only a football club.

While I admire the positive attitude of most people on here I just cant see us getting anything. Really want us to survive but this is a team that could be 3-0 up and we know its not enough. A team with lower league players and a lower league manager who seem determined to reach their proper level.Totally gutted that the club i've followed for 40+ years has sunk so low that I expect them to lose. I was at the match and got what I expected. Not a clue from front to dugout. Was surprised during the warm up when the players came out they were smiling and laughing, certainly not acting like a team that are humiliated every time they pull on the shirt. OK don't want to see them crying but come on... Did anyone else notice Ireland making what looked like an offensive gesture to someone high up in the trinity? Classy.

Had a cracking idea. Why dont the stewards pick 11 total strangers out of the crowd (they've got to be strangers to make it more realistic) kit em up and make them play ? They'll try harder for a start, Lambert won't be able to organise them, they'll play for free so Mandy Lerner cuts the wage bill and there is the same chance of getting a result so the crowd are probably happier. Its win win all round.
