And oh my.  Mrs Sidcow has just informed me that for pudding we're going to have Clotted cream and jam scones. 

I think I've created a little cream of my own.

Could start something here but how do you eat yours? Cornish or Devon way?

Personally,  I like some real butter on mine, then the clotted cream and finally the jam.

What? 

Jam then cream is the only civilised way to eat scones. 

I don't want jam sliding all over the place and off the top of the cream. Madness.

Making a veggie vindaloo type thing.

White jasmine rice

Green pepper

Onion

Mushrooms

Garlic

All fried up with turmeric, salt and pepper.

Coconut milk

Unseasoned tomato sauce

Garam masala

cayenne pepper

Cumin

Pinch of sugar

What was the name of that VTer....peter something who is a mad talented chef ? Some of the stuff he posted on here was insane. Ain't seen him in a year or so.

Crikey this took some finding, this guy, used to read his posts before joined up, good cook, no posts for over a year, hope he's ok......... @peterms

Yes, that's the chap. Some of his recipes were off the chain with the attention to detail. I seem to remember he is scottish...Edinburgh comes to mind.

Can't remember but he definitely posted some lovely sounding stuff, reading some of the other posters stuff I'd say there's a few talented utensil slingers on here.
