StigVillan
So just hypothetically, spitballing, out on a limb here, if I did organise a night at the Wellington for a few good quality beers, who would turn up? Won't be with you all until mid-November...
darrenm
It would have to have a bit of noticed anyway so probably late November.

islingtonclaret
Gah! Wouldn't be able to do a meet in the Wellie. I think I have an excuse in that I live in London though. I miss pubs like that. Anywhere here that has interactive beer menus and loads of pumps is full of hipsters. I'd kill for an Otley or Uru in the White Horse Harborne right now. mikeyp102
Tried twisted wheel tonight. Got a nice ginger hint in the back ground but not overpowering
Jimzk5
Picked up a few bottles of bishops finger to enjoy with my curry later. After dinner drinks include some lech and budvar pilsner. Not ales granted, but very nice lagers

Tbh the wellie is full of hipsters and always rammed so its never much fun. But I'm still up for going.

LondonLax
You shouldn't drink real ale from the bottle Especially if it's bottle conditioned and has sediment sloshing around every time you take a swig but not only that, you also want to be able to smell the beer you are drinking! Nigel Posted November 3, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted November 3, 2013 Went to the beer festival in Birmingham last night. Goes without saying that there were some lovely ales. Anyone else go?
Xela
Went to the beer festival in Birmingham last night. Goes without saying that there were some lovely ales. Anyone else go? I was meant to go on Friday night (even had my advance ticket) but something cropped up so had to give it a miss - gutted. Went last year and really enjoyed it.
