  1. I wouldn't believe that as nothing happens at that club without their approval. It just sounds like Gold & Sullivan trying to blame someone else for a terrible signing that was probably their idea in the first place.
  2. IF* we won those two games we would be safe and they would be going down. Two crucial matches to lose. Not good enough.
  3. Yeah, there's no f**king way Jesse lingard created 19 chances.
  4. He doesn't do himself any favours with the nonsense he spouts in post match interviews. I would agree the squad is poor though, martial, lingaard, fred, macguire all vastly overpaid to name but a few.
  5. Jesse lingaard: The definition of a nothing player.
  6. If you judge games by watching them you will have to concede that Leicester were the better team over the two legs and the better team in both games. I was happy to be getting penalties to be honest and we had nyland to thank for that. You could say that Leicester didn't create many clear cut chances and had alot of long range shots in both games, but its obvious they were the better team. Football however is a game of fine margins and we got through. That's all that matters.
  7. West Ham Post £27m Loss I really hope they go down.
  8. I would hope that the club are using more a more incentive based wage structure in contracts these days rather than just X thousand a week regardless of the team's position in the league or if the player is playing the first team or not. If a player won't sign an incentive based contract then chances are he's not the type of player you want to sign anyway.
  9. Much like us I doubt they wanted any part of an FA Cup run. Happy to be out.
  10. I think that happened once they sold out to move to the Olympic stadium. There's no atmosphere in the ground any more and it's full of tourists. They are more like a franchise than a football club. I wouldn't be surprised if the owners wanted to change their name to the London Hammers.
  11. You are probably right, which just shows you everything that's wrong with football.
  12. It's not though. There are only 2 "serious" trophies, you can't win one of them every season unless you are in a (formerly?) one team league like Juventus or Munich and even they might not win their leagues this season.
  13. It was always going to be hard for Man City to have large attendances given the club they share a city with. If they were in London then they would get more tourists and day trippers but that's much harder in Manchester. Also any casual football fan anywhere near Manchester is going to be a man united fan for obvious reasons. It's one of the reasons I found it strange city were selected by the Arabs for their project in the first place. Why not buy another club somewhere else, or dare I say it one Aston Villa F.C. Buying a club that shares a city with the biggest club in the world seemed an odd choice.
  14. Would be an upgrade on Hassan and Jota so.
  15. @OutByEaster? Sorry to bump this thread but in the next meeting would it be possible to ask the club to implement a similar system to Roma when they announce a new signing? They include a picture of a missing child and it is really helping find people. The below article from BBC explains what they are doing and how it is working. It wouldn't cost the club anything to do it and given the exposure of the premier league it might help find someone. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/51041303
  16. And yet he only cost £15m instead of the money they have wasted on big name signings like Fred.
  17. Well I might as well put this here as I feel suicidal (*again). It looks like I've lost a lot of money with carstore that I won't be able to get back. Buying a new car was supposed to cheer me up after having a miserable year so far. Instead it's gone tits up and it's close to pushing me over the edge. Too many tears, too many sleepless night, no happiness, no joy only bloody misery day after day. I have realised that I don't actually live life, I just exist. The problem is that my existence has really become a hardship with worries about money, job, accommodation so I have to ask myself how much longer I can continue. Hopefully I can find the balls to end it all like my uncle did a few weeks ago. Sick of it.
  18. Yep. Just let the var official tell the ref when there's an offside via his headset. Linesman are pointless
  19. Jesse lingard. Horrendous again tonight but yet on 130k a week. The mind boggles
  20. Play to the whistle. Ref never blew it. Edit: he did blow it but after the ball was in the onion bag.
  21. £77m was it they paid for him? He looks woeful. Kolasinic is absolutely dreadful and a really annoying clearing in the woods too. Poor axel gifted arsenal a goal. Oh dear.
