Yeah McGinn was anonymous. Think Newcastle did a job on him - but definitely would have been gutted for his pal effecting his performance in the process.

Busy week ahead for Unai. High line getting exploited A LOT today and preseason. That’s the worst we’ve been since he arrived. A big wake up call for everyone involved.

He’s one of those underrated players by us and fans of other clubs. Goes about his business excellently, rarely receives the plaudits - but is class. Mad to think he’s only 25. Emery clearly rates him and I can just see him going from strength to strength. If I was Konsa I’d be pledging my allegiance to Portugal as clearly not in knobnoses thoughts.

Oh I’m not judging him - but it’s not the easiest to come into a new club and learn a new position - ergo Emery not doing him any favours by asking him to play what looks like out of his comfort zone.

Made me chuckle. Although I’m in the camp of staying off his back and let him play when needed. He’s not the best in the world… our number 1 is that! Always will be a drop off with the back up keeper.
