I do wonder how many casual fans would realise he played for Blues before Dortmund. It probably bypassed a lot of people he ever played there - so quite entertaining they’d probably get little ‘credit’ for him. Looking like a generational talent right now though. Hopefully he and Kane can propel us to Euro glory in the summer.

Absolutely superb news. Delighted for Konsa. I’ve championed him declaring for Portugal as he’d probably get more international recognition. Hopefully this is the beginning of that a prolonged involvement with England and not just a one off. Also great news for us that he gets to be mentored by such an elite coach in Southgate on how to play properly…

I thought second half they were fine (for the first time) - which makes me think they swapped them for fan replica kits maybe rather than the pro version at half time? If you look at the images from the Watkins goal and post match they’re not like they have been in every other match.

Oh - you’re right. Capped at 2 loans at any one time, didn’t realise this was the rule for all loans. In that case a permanent transfer… which decreases the chances of something happening in my opinion, but we will see.

A sense of what if, and if only with this one. Was really excited to see him arrive and was full of hope and optimism, but he seemingly can’t stay fit anymore. A real shame, but best for the club to offload him and bring in someone who can contribute more consistently. Thanks Phil!
