According to reports it was the first proper pre season game in a very mish mash side, just gaining fitness and learning a new managers way.

Thing is, I'm not pretty certain villa will sell out for every away game irrelevant of price. The owners know this and thus have put the price high. I don't agree with it, but that is why.

You obviously haven't read the thread much. If you had you would see that at times he has been massively overrated, to the point that he was going to our saviour. As for injury prone I've seen very little posts indicating that. The reason that people don't like him is that he just isn't very good. He is slow, his hold up is poor and touch is terrible ( as an example there was one instance last season he was centre of goal, edge of the box, the ball was played to his feet, and his touch sent the ball out for a throw in). Yes he may finish the odd chance, but he is just a poor man Darren Bent who needs them put on a plate. We need better if we want to go up.

As for spending more than them, I'd bloody hope we are, we've a new owner and have just come out of the prem..and even so we don't know how much more Xia will spend. There are plenty to mock blues about, but I don't think these two things are that.

Him and Lescott are the ones I want of our club the most. For me Bacuna has Zero talent and zero effort. His attitude stinks, he couldn't care less about this club, that has given him a chance to play in the premier league, when no one else will. My worry is that every other club sees how pathetic he is and we are stuck with him for a few more years
