We have already spent nearly £50m on a player and we weren’t in Champions League. Football player prices are rising, I’m not saying immediately, but in a few years time we would have to spend £100m on a player.

No way we can think like that. If we are in champions league for a couple of seasons and really challenging, we would be spending that much.

Heskey and Sidwell have n the Crouch podcast, saying Gabby used to ask for the team to MON about having loads of time off. It’s no wonder we’d fall off a cliff. The more you hear of Gabby the more he took us (club and fans) for mugs -
Surely we must get details of ST prices soon. I’m sure we’ve normally been able to purchase by now

Newcastle got 71 points last year, be nice to beat that

When he signed there was a podcast with a Leicester fan who said the more minutes he plays and consequently, the better Youri becomes. It’s when he’s rotated out he gets worse. I think we starting to see that, he just keeps growing and growing as a player for us
-
Tactics spot on today. He switched it up a little, going a little more direct knowing how tired the players would be. I thought we could make a few subs earlier, but suppose the Brentford capitulation was still on his mind
-
Not his best game on the ball, wasted a couple of really good positions. Still put a huge shift in
-
Thought the holte was good for the majority of the game today. Can’t say I noticed 1897 stuff, but all credit for trying something.
-
Grew into the game, worked so hard for the team, was integral in the equaliser tracking back and stopping the attack, then was key in the other goals as well.
-
Was quality today, his speed and acceleration on the half turn is immense. He scared Bournemouth at times. He’s growing into the role Emery wants of him. Ramsey will struggle to get back into the side.
-
Was class today, his movement and awareness was too much for Bournemouth
-
Unplayable second half. What a player. I’ve had my doubts about him in the past, and does make the odd wrong decision but he has been sublime this season.

Such a professional performance that, puts the pressure onto spurs to turn around 6 points and goal difference

Yep absolutely too relaxed, I think he thought it was an open goal and any contact is enough to put it in. All credit to the keeper like you say

The coefficient is calculated across the last few seasons, not this season alone. If spurs had done better in the first conference league and not got knocked out early the coefficient would be better

Apparently all refs and club official were asked about rules at the draw, this was one question that was asked with club officials getting it wrong.
-
Our coefficient being low is partly due to them anyway. If they’d took the first conference league seriously England would have higher numbers. Was just reading an article in The Athletic, Roma winning that conference league helps Italy to be so high, high enough that if Italian sides win both lesser European tournaments this year, next year Italy will have 6 sides in Champions league

I could see Angel Gomes coming in as Kamara back up, when he came on in both legs he used the ball very well.

I still don’t know how he didn’t score, it was like he thought it was an open goal

Didn’t expect cashy to step up, but took it well.
