I think he could play as the main striker, but do get what you say about dropping a bit deeper. The problem yesterday was that he picking the ball up on the half way line which for me is too deep, once he's beaten a man he still has 40-50 yards to go.

Whilst he's not great, how many times was the ball played up to him? Mainly they were balls for him to run onto which is never going to work. When it was played up he flicked it on and Ayew could run on. As a back up option with a different style he would work but not starting

Commentary is awful, agree that Ayew should be further forward though no, point being midfield. He should be playing on the shoulder of the last man.
