  1. thank for the insight! do you have a link / screenshot?
  2. The Bevington resignation update has been removed from the 'Latest News' on the AVFC website. Official announcement may be coming soon.....
  3. I split my time mostly between London and the E Mids, so with us being in the championship will hopefully be able to get to a lot more games next season. If I wasn't to get a season ticket, what's is the deal with away games? Say for Fulham, QPR, Brentford, Derby, Notts etc. Am I likely to be able to get tickets?
  4. 15:00 BBC WM 95.6 Sport22/08/2015 Crystal Palace v Aston Villa (3pm), updates and Cardiff v Wolves (5.15pm). NOT online. View Programme information Not on BBC or TalkSport, but is on BBC Radio WM (95.6). Am I right in thinking this won't be broadcast online? If not, does anyone know of a channel I could listen to the game on my phone radio over the internet? Cheers
  5. As you have decided to ask this question here I'll have a stab and say between 80million and 67p and a Jason Donovan concert on a Scotch Tape. Thank you so much, my friend. which one?| Mamadou Sakho.... urgh, would be acceptable as a season long loan. This guy is so technically limited and looks like a mistake waiting to happen every time he's in possession of the ball. Pity too as he had all the ingredients to be a beast at youth levels. I'd like to think we want CBs who are comfortable on the ball if we want to get anywhere over the coming seasons. Yeah, he didn't really impress at Liverpool but I still think that he could do a great job with the right management and training off the pitch. His wages might be a little high though.
  6. I wonder where we would be now if Randy had appointed a Fox-like figure when he first bought the club
  7. It seems that the reason Adama wants to leave Barcelona is because of not being included in their first team pre-season set up. If this is true, would he come here without the promise of a shot at first team football immediately? I'm not sure.

Going on Monday, quite excited. Any tips?
  9. Watched Tottenham vs Burnley last weekend and they weren't up to much. Burnley's crosses were cutting through their centerbacks especially. For that reason, I think we should play Lowton.
  10. Sorry for the slightly off-topic but saw this on BBC Sportday, Odd that West Brom have interest and we may not. Like buying a 2 bed semi when you could have the 5 bed detached house a couple of doors down, isn't it?
  11. While I agree with this sentiment - of course it would be better for people to form their own opinion based on a good amount of personal research - I think the debates do have some worth for those that don't want to engage. Would I rather people that can't be arsed to research the party (or closest party) that represents their views just base their opinions on the ludicrous persona of Nige being the guy with the pint. Or would I rather they base their views on a (albeit pretty rubbish) television debate? I think I would pick the latter.
  12. I'd love to take advantage of this but don't know any season ticket holders
  13. Might have been nice to see him come on for Zog, but under the circumstances I think Weimann was the right call given the energy he gives the team - he's a runner, which is what you need to see the game out. Unfortunately for Gil, Zog has hit some form and it's his shirt to lose now. Good for everyone involved, two player fighting for a position is what we have been missing for a long time now. Long may it continue. Competition is great for a squad.
  14. After Gabby had a good game on Tuesday, I think it would be stupid not to play Gil in the role in behind the striker and Gabby in a striker/winger role floating in and out of the channels. They are going to be on alert with Gabby, hopefully giving Gil and Sinclair a bit more space.
  15. Hoddle's comments on possibly taking over spurs short term a while back: "I did have talks with Daniel Levy and the club," Hoddle said. "He wanted a little bit of advice and a bit of a sounding board for himself. "[i said) 'I am there for you if you want me to take it to the end of the season and then we will have a little look at it then, I would be prepared to do that'. "I wouldn't do it for any other club for that short period of time." http://web.archive.org/web/20140722010940/http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/21564/9273280/glenn-hoddle-reveals-how-close-he-came-to-returning-to-tottenham-as-manager Things might have changed, but I doubt he would be interested in a short term position. I don't think many managers would to be honest.
  16. Don't think it will happen but I would like Billic
  17. Just came across this: http://winve.st Might be interesting
  18. I'm a fan of Delph and like others have said it's hard to take that we could lose him for nothing. I'd like to think he is a decent guy and might sign a small contract extension with a transfer clause meaning he could leave in the summer for 10m. Sadly that ain't happening though is it
  19. What Sav thinks we need http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30592653
  20. Redmond is an interesting one. With the right guidance I think he could be a real asset in the Premiership
