Just finished an exam, and come back to 17 new pages. An update from anyone would be greatly appreciated

I'm going to repeat this even though when I said it at the time a lot of people replied with the standard 'my sisters, work mate's dad said...' But around this time last year my mate did a placement with his mum in Sheffield and came back and said she was saying how 'Lambert hasn't got a clue' and our bad performances were down to him etc etc. Not sure it fits in directly with this discussion, but it could be another piece in the puzzle suggesting they don't get along. Personally, I think if Lowton could replicate his performances from the latter end of last season, he is good enough and will be big part of our team for years to come.

Should be able to provide a decent cross to Benteke too, good signing.

I agree, especially with Barry. The downsides a lot of people said at the time were wages and them being 'old', but that's what we are looking for this window

Not a lot to say, didn't do a lot wrong, but then again didn't do a lot at all. Delph MOM for me. Seemed the only player trying to create something. Weimann has to be dropped and be shown he can't put in these performances week in week out.

Bacuna played well, can't fault him tbh and looking promising. Him and Lowton fighting for a start can only be a positive thing for us. In terms of Redmond, he acted like he was the dogs bollocks I though. Absolute piece. When he pretended to throw the ball at Bacuna to get some sort of reaction he made himself look like a tosser

Bit off topic but AMC have announced a spin off 'Better Call Saul'

I've got a season ticket at the Tigers so went down there yesterday. An underwhelming win by all accounts if I'm honest. Although we got the bonus point and never really looked like losing, if we had been playing against a better team they would have punished us. Still, a good start to the season, and looking forward to lifting the trophy again this year.

Kozak is slow and he doesn't do anything a winger should. Weimann can at least send in a cross and make good runs. Plus our front 3 have very good chemistry. Kozak is a direct replacement for Benteke. My exact thoughts. In that case, it seems he is just that then, a replacement. So that rules him out appearing in a system with Benteke, which either means he is being blooded for next season or he is just a bench warmer?

I find that when people annoy me unbearably at first, after around 2 or 3 weeks I start feeling sorry for them as I conclude they are terrible human beings. It also develops into amusement for me after a while. Maybe a tad harsh but it makes me feel better.

Would some people argue that a Gabby, Benteke, Kozak triple attack would work? -------------- Teke --------------- --- Gabby ----------- Kozak --- I don't think that would work because Kozak is more of a 'target man' rather than an energetic wing type attacker that Weimann is. If this is the case, where would Kozak fit in other than a 442 with Benteke?

Been watching SSN all day, including a 15 minute section with a Sky Italian presenter, and not a mention of that Kozak deal. So bazaar
