  1. Robin Williams, Dustin Hofman, Ray Winston, Julia Robert's. What a turn out Hook was.
  2. Agree with all this. Cash and Targett are £10-15 million full backs in a division where the top full backs are two to three times that value. Like you say, they have both good and bad elements to their game and are inconsistent, that's why they cost what they did. Will be interesting to see if they are to be replaced if the aim is to move up to places 6 to 8 rather than midtable. Also as their positions are now really important for the way the team plays.
  3. Its getting a bit of a farce now. You cant have some teams without their managers, their best players, some full strength, some postponing game after game etc.
  4. I think their training ground has just been closed because of five fresh Covid cases, on top of loads of injuries. They're not going to be full strength, if the game goes ahead at all.
  5. I just put a single seat on the resell and it was bought straight away. I'd imagine there would be even greater demand if you have a few together.
  6. Chelsea are playing in the cup tomorrow by the looks of it. Will be interesting to see their team for that.
  7. It's just a replica of last year. Escalation of cases right into the Christmas break, and strong likelihood of a dark lockdown in Jan. January was particularly tough I felt.
  8. I have this tradition of drinking red wine and wrapping the presents while watching a Christmas film. Not sure when that started, maybe when our youngest was born a few years ago. All I've got available film wise is a Christmas carol but it's from the 50s, recorded it earlier. Almost unwatchable. I dont mind the 70s one or possibly it was 60s but cant be doing with the 50s one. Could do with the muppets version right about now.
  9. Well most of the Burnley fans will be just arriving. Ridiculous.
  10. Really, I thought Buendia was expected to play. Why is Ings out?
  11. Anyone know why west brom play on friday nights so regularly? Is it to reduce the amount of Saturday home games when villa are at home?
  12. These energy prices are going to hike beyond what many can afford. The wholesale price for next calendar year is now quadruple the normal cost. When this hit the headlines in September the 2022 value was roughly double the norm, and the hope was that it was a short lived thing, but now it looks to be more sustained.
  13. Ye I'm probably somewhere in between. Both are decent arguments.
  14. That's staggering! To combine being in top 3 for clean sheets and facing double the number of shots on target. He is a class act.
  15. Haha. With 300 blokes smoking and chanting in the lower holte toilet. Count me in.
  16. If you can Christmas from home then do that.
  17. Hahaha £15 million!! I'd be happy for us to pay £10 million of it.
  18. It's good to have players you want playing even when a load are out injured. We really lacked that at times last season.
  19. Dropping deep into the midfield too at times. As you say, he offers so much to us, occupying and covering so much space. Must be a nightmare to defend against.
  20. Imagine the him of this season in all those games last season.
