    Is there anything more depressing than the commentators looking at replay after replay trying to find reasons how a goal can be disallowed. Its Ings offside, no Konsa was offside when he headed it, oh no it was Ings who handballed it, check that from the other angle again in slow motion, was it handball. Oh no actually theres a coming together with Cavani and Ramsey. Sad state of affairs.

    Is this position depth too rather than saying Targett has to leave? If the aspiration is to play in europe and go far in cups you need very similar quality players in reserve. You could have Digne featuring in 30-35 games next season and Targett in 15 -20. That's what the europa level teams do.

    Its done. The betting market has him at 1/33 to sign for us now, they'll suspend it shortly.

    One thing for me from a positive angle is that surely it helps us keep our better players and attract better players. Playing alongside Coutinho under Steven Gerrard is pretty exciting I'd say.

    It's really embarrassing watching the game with neutrals and this being one of the key things they take away from the game. It's what they were talking about after the game. Dont want that type of player representing our club. Also, how much of a lack of belief do you have to have in your own ability if you need to do that when still in possession. Its beyond pathetic.
