And two of those games were against the two worst teams in the league. It just puts added pressure on the trickier games where we'll have to win. If they are to change Bruce then it needs to be done quickly.

Simply, we have too many of these games each season to go up automatically. The top sides win that 2 or 3 nil. Not ruthless enough sadly.

Great result. Just an observation/question; why is it that if you score and jump in the crowd you get booked. But if you havent scored but jump in the crowd to celebrate, you dont get booked. It is like the goalscorer is the instigator?

Its interesting how in friendlies the referee doesnt have to book players or send them off. Dont even bother with injury time at the end of halfs. Are they instructed to do that? Its still a football match, teams want to score goals and win presumably? Its like a football match but with unnoficial different rules. Find it odd.

Bookies have us priced at 8/13 to finish in the top half this season. Im not a betting person and im fairly pessimistic when it comes to Villa, but to me, thats very good value for money. I notice also that since Fridays announcement, our relegation odds have gone out to 11/1 from 8/1.
