    I agree with loads of what youre saying there, particularly the retirement home. But we're talking playing personnel here, not the fact we cant get a tune out of them. If we had Sheffield uniteds current playing squad as our players this season we'd be near the bottom.

    Sheffield United and Bristol City have better squads than us? Deary me. So youd straight swap their squads for ours now if offered?

    We are a big club and we finished 4th last season. We should be a top championship team, based on players, spend, last season finish etc. Its not a huge amount to expect. You dont change your expectation of the club to where you currently are in the league.

    I couldnt believe that he didnt come and claim that ball across the box. Looked about a yard or two in front of him. Was a decent save though.

    He was awful today from start to finish. Theres a reason why we're able to get players like him for a small fee.

    Just not very good is he when the onus is on him. Very much an icing on the cake type player when in a strong team e.g. goals v blues, derby etc.

    I heard he bumped into Fabian Delph there but unfortunately McGinn cant speak parcel tongue. Seriously though, my favourite player right now and i really hope that he doesnt change. Very different to so many of our players.

    Wasnt as bad as last few games, although seemed liked him and Bjarnasson had never met eachother. Lord knows what they practise in the week. He just seems very comfortable at Aston Villa, he's got himself a good deal. Absolutely no hunger or urgency.

    They were 3/1 in places a few days ago. Im not a betting person but that is really tempting. That price is as if the last few weeks of football hasnt happened - for both teams.

    You'd hardly be on the edge of your seat if youd won your last three home games a combined 19-0.

    His defending for that first goal was awful. About 3 or 4 mistakes in about 8 seconds. Loses his man for initial header, doesnt react to the save, so gets to the ball after Pilkington, which he shouldnt have given his starting position. Then falls for a nutmeg, and doesnt bother chasing back in. And then, as some of you say, just wanders off with an expressionless face. Dont mean to single him out but its just so weak/lazy and presumably unnecasary?

    Christ, check out Hulls last few league games. Won six in a row, and the last two games six nil and three nil. In the words of Bollo, "I got a bad feeling about this."

    Bit of a meh player. Those two consecutive crosses that hit the blocker late on yesterday were inexcusable though.
