I think we, and Bruce inparticularly, are very forunate that no team or set of teams have started the season really well. It would have been interesting to see if Bruce was still around if the top two or top six had gained 5 or 6 more points than they have. Thus seeing us four wins adrift in September.

I dont agree with the first paragraph. Surely the owners aim isnt for us to avoid relegation this season? Theyll have looked at the playing personnel, wages, last seasons points etc and be aiming for min playoffs? Theyre not just thinking, oh great, another draw, another point on the board. That would be a club like Rotherhams attitude.

You cant say that we're well within the chase for the playoffs in September. Any team in the league could win the division or finish bottom at this stage, theres only a few wins in it. Its the fact we've won 1 in 8 against a set of teams that average at best lower mid table thats the problem.

I remember Steve Staunton scoring a cracker against Wednesday at VP. It was one of those that didnt seem as good when watched back on TV.

We're helped massively by the fact that there is no obvious run away team, or teams. Which makes our start to this season all the more frustrating.

As a forward four, what's the estimated combined value of Bolasie, Grealish, Kodjia and Abraham? £100 million? Most squads in the championship wouldn't be worth much more than £30-40 million. Really poor start to the season.

Surely defeats and draws are viewed as one and the same at the moment. We need to win most of the games we play this season, and we havent won in 6 against the worst teams in the league.

How far away is he, presumably he's training? Keep seeing his name mentioned in match threads around him starting. I was at a bbq in Manchester a couple of weeks ago and got talking to a bloke who runs an amateur team up there. He said his mates the physio that worked with Bolasie following his injury. Physio said it was up there with the worst football injury he'd seen and is surprised that he has been able to play again. Doesnt bode well as to what we can expect from him.

I sometimes wish that i could have supported a team that doesnt have any expectation, so that i could just enjoy football. Haha.

Absolutely crucial that its done soon. The season is still salvagable, it wont be in 3 game and no wins time.
