  1. Sorry, which one changes your lifestyle? Surely both change the vast vast majority of peoples lifestyles?
  2. 1) Are people happier after winning a huge amount on the lottery? 2) What is the point of winning £121 million, as opposed to say £5 million? Like why such a rediculously large amount?
  3. Lifeguards at swimming pools. Anyone on here ever been one? Im at my lads swimming lesson and theres 3 lifeguards just staring at the water. 2 are stationary and the other is walking back and for. Like what are they actually doing or thinking all day. I mean Im bored and ive been here 20 minutes. How often do they actually need to do anything?
  4. Come on Warwick. Important days cricket this.
  5. Ive been dissapointed with Brew ever since he joined from Barnsley. I thought he looked special there.
  6. You can pick out any non wins really, but i agree, it was the post Wolves demolition run of games that are most frustrating. That dour draw at Hull in that run too, such a waste.
  7. Please tell me you dont refer to Newcastle as "the boys in the striped pyjamas"? Makes me picture Jonjo Shelvey.
  8. Have you actually read my post? I'm saying that it's unlikely that we'll go up automatically. I think we'll be in the playoffs. I just don't see the need to rotate/rest player when A) we still have an opportunity to be promoted automatically and B) we don't actually play a playoff game for the best part of a month. If Bruce plays his strongest side on Saturday, do you think that the players should be of the mindset that we can only finish in the playoffs?
  9. Are you serious? If Cardiff win one, draw two and lose one And Fulham win one, draw one and lose one And we win our final three games, then we go up automatically. Whats so far fetched about that? Unlikely, I agree, but you dont give up now.
  10. Fulham could quite easily play an already relegated Sunderland and already safe Blues. Hopefully that isnt the case. I think that we just want as many teams to be mathematically in the mix of either promotion or relegation through to the end of the season.
  11. Is there a rule around how many players you can change from one game to the next? Thinking in relation to resting players ahead of the playoffs.
  12. I think we'll have back to back away games at Millwall.
  13. We still believe. It's coming home...... But i still see that tackle by Moore (Stefan) And when Luc Nilis scored Bosko belting the ball And Nobby (Solano) dancing One lion on a shirt Jules Reme Garde's still gleaming.
  14. Na, we'll prob have our last 2 league games being meaningless in terms of having a bearing on final position, so rest/rotate players then. Would be an odd scenario facing Millwall on the final day at their place with us confirmed 4th and them needing to draw/win to get 5th. Only for us to go back there the next week in the playoffs.
  15. Surely the whole of the Smethwick End is standing all game anyway, so replacing seats with safe standing makes it much safer. Dont understand the comments re. Dont want to stand all game when they chose to stand there.
  16. But a lot of that 5 point gap is down to Arsenal having their worst season in ages. Arsenal get their stuff together and I'd imagine that next season the gap to 7th will be +10 points. Whenever you talk about things like this, I never fail to realise just how remarkable the Leicester title season was - absolutely incredible.
  17. I agree, but presumably the bulk of this squad wouldn't feature in the Premier League, as we'd likely sign approx. 10 new players? I've said it before on here, but I feel that relatively speaking, the bottom half of the Premier League is the weakest its been. Newcastle now a top half team ffs - Gayle their top scorer with 5 is it? You only need to have a couple of mini winning runs against the other dross and you're likely safe.
  18. Thats always going to happen though isnt it. And why it is very correct to say that all that matters is that we win our games. You cant just have eight teams winning all the time and on 80 points. A load of the top half teams are generally quite poor. I remember us being behind Derby and thinking that theres little chance of us overtaking them. And now 10th placed Fulham of the time are way ahead of them. I just cant believe that we've won one of the last five against bottom half or relegation candidates. So dissapointing.
  19. At my little lads Saturday morning kick about. There are 8 children playing here ages 3 to 6. My lad has his Villa kit on. The other children have PSG, Real Madrid, Juventus and 2 in Barcelona, with two just in plain hoodies. Am i now the odd one making him support Villa? What happens to our local teams years down the line in terms of interest? When i played 25 years ago we were all in Villa, Blues, West Brom etc with a couple in Man U or Liverpool.
  20. Kerry, we all know you love a drink hun, but maybe its time to stop. LOL. LMAO. #justkiddinhun #proseccohoes4life
