It's a paradox but this is exactly the type of character you want your squad filled with. Unfortunately that can't happen because the ones who aren't in the team will want to move on to get more game time.
I didn't give the tiniest shite about Swansea before this but I hope they get promoted now with him playing every minute.
Agree completely with this, my only worry is the selling of VP but I'm sure they'll have a clever plan to get that back under the ownership of the club itself.
Arsenal have just signed Ryan on loan from Brighton because their Emi replacement isn't good enough. They'll be on the keeper merry go round for years trying to replace him.
He's a joy to watch. The run in the first half where he statued half their defence and then the annihilation of KDB were just incredible.
That is the kind of stuff that makes football worth watching.
More end product will come too, I'm sure of it.
This is the best case scenario from my perspective if the buyback clause really exists.
Either Man City want him to play for them or we're favourites imho. I suppose one of the other European giants could tempt him but I think City would rather sell to us than a (current) rival for the CL
Wanted a LIV and MCI defender for this week, had Stones and Alisson pencilled in but managed to free up enough funds to go with Ederson and Robertson.
... Shit
Even that is generous. Butland was good before he crocked his ankle. I've never seen anything in Ramsdale. Not big, not commanding, doesn't catch, not agile, poor with his feet.
Surprisingly few price changes.
I've taken a -8 and I still really don't love my team.
No triple captain either. KDB is getting a rest I can feel it and Salah hasn't gone full winter berserker yet.
Me too but that's more to do with Villa than FPL.
Agree that he gets away with murder at times and if it was any other game than a top of the table clash I'd agree that he'd take it easy. He's a winner though and if he needs to make a foul in that game he will do I think.
One thing to consider is that Bruno is on 4 yellows and Liverpool like to spring traps that often require professional fouls to stop. It's a very real possibility he gets a 5th yellow in that game and misses the Fulham one
Brilliant player, wasn't willing to go to that extra obsessive level to squeeze every last drop out of performance out of himself but a fantastic career nonetheless.
That's pretty much the reason why I think he won't do well as a manager though. Well, that and seemingly not being very bright
Could probably make a fairly comprehensive flow chart to track the stages and reactions of his standard reign.
Tangentially related, after they finally sack him I would love to see Bruce write the script to adapt his novels into a screenplay.
