    I've got 3 Villa but I don't think that's a great fixture. They've got Partey back and they're playing well. Leno out is a bonus but it still doesn't make Grealish or Watkins strong captain material imo.

    Just seen the set of games for the weekend. Christ, I think Bamford is my only player with a half decent fixture. Edit - And Antonio. Obviously I'd seen all the games individually coming up but it just never registered that they were all in the same week.

    Performances and scorelines are completely irrelevant in football. The quantity and timing of substitutions as well as the amount of squad rotation employed is what matters at the end of the day. I want 3 changes to the starting lineup, one change to the midfield between 57 and 63 minutes, a winger on at the 70 minute mark and a striker on for the last 8 minutes or after we've won our 8th corner of the game, whichever comes first. It's quite simple and if Smith can't see that then he should just pack his bags.

    That is an interesting idea and I'd be fine with that as the rule but I don't mind the negative scorers coming on as subs. It is obviously very galling when it happens to you but I see it as part of the game. Just another consideration when picking your bench order and bench players.

    Take VP out and that is still a horrific list. Craven Cottage is a unique and interesting stadium. An original Archibald Leitch. Equal last place should be all the toilet shaped ones that I couldn't tell apart from an aerial shot if my life depended on it.

    West Ham are seriously outkicking their coverage so far I reckon. We'll do em. Leeds and Everton are two of the most up and down teams this season, could be any score. I only have Bamford from either though.

    If it walks like a duck... Leeds seem to be the only club with a dedicated propaganda department sent out to the message boards of other teams to shout down any suggestion their players aren't absolute top, top right honest blokes to a man.

    Pretty much agree but I put a tiny amount of importance in it, I'd say every extra 0.1 at half way is worth about 2 extra points by the end. That's usable sale value though (your total if you remove all your players on the transfer page) rather than regular team Value. Every time I try and make moves for the sake of team value it is at the expense of my overall rank at the end. This season is going quite well but I haven't even touched 104m TV yet. Last season I never broke 105m at all I don't think.

    Also take out United 1-6 Spurs, United 6-2 Leeds, Palace 0-7 Liverpool. We'll never get this season finished with all these discounted results.

    90% of the time I agree, the exceptions being when a 0.1 difference will price you out of the move you want to make.

    His injury has dragged on a concerningly long time now and it sounds like the end isn't near. We could do with him back as cover, he was excellent in the games he came in for.

    The best players seem to play as inside forwards, that's where I think he should (and does) play. I think eventually he'll be scoring 20+ a season from there on top of being the most entertaining player to watch.

    Waited too long before GW21 to swap Creswell to Cancelo, Cancelo rose and I got priced out but then fomo meant I decided last minute to spend 4 points to do the same transfer I should've done for free. Cancelo then gets pepped while Creswell gets and assist vs LIV. Creswell then rises again today meaning I could've cashed in an extra 0.1. If I'd done the transfer earlier I'd be 0.1 and 4 points better off. If I'd done it later I'd be 0.1 and 6 points better off. I managed to thread the eye of the needle to get the worst possible result. Stonks.

    Completely agree, I'm pretty sure his scoring record and performances at centre forward were part of the reason he was signed. Judging by his movement in the box and finishing so far I'd be happy with him up front, luckily though we've got someone even better at it.

    Curiosity got the better of me so I looked up how he was doing so far this season as I haven't been watching the Championship. 12 appearances, 0 goals, 0 assists. We missed out big time there getting Traore instead of this guy.

    Spurs journalists suggesting Kane will be back in two weeks. Glad I don't have him because that is a really annoying time to transfer him out and back in for.

    It's bad FPL JuJu to say that! Every time I go into a week happy with my team I end up with about 40 points. This week I'm unhappy I don't have any Chelsea defence but I can't see any of them being both good value and nailed. I've had triple Villa for near enough the entire season. So so sweet every time they get returns. Still regret selling Martinez for our blank though to make sure I could field 11 though. Couldn't afford to get him straight back so had to pivot to Targett instead.
