Australian and Chinese GPs postponed
-
And he just won the free kick they equalised from. 'Mon the hibees
-
Is he as willing to take people on as his dad Ronnie?
-
I suppose technically as he's U18 he could still wake up tomorrow and decide to support United and it would still count as being a boyhood fan. So calling him a boyhood United fan would be a (hopeful) prediction rather than a fact.

Please tell me when to stop laughing at SHA

Whoscored have him down as 6 before he went off. If he'd been able to keep up that astounding level of performance for 90 minutes he'd have scraped double figures. -
Would be nice, he looks excellent. If that was the case it would seem like we've decided against Barkley permanently
-
I don't think they the PL feel any need to give anyone any advanced warning. They postponed Spurs Fulham about 2 hours before kickoff

Irreverentad's Fantasy Premier League 2020/21
YouUnastanFren replied to Stevo985's topic in Games and Gaming
Our game being in jeopardy has surely all but forced everyone into using FH. I had 7 for this week but without Villa and Spurs that would be 3. -
Which Premier League club fans do you 'hate' the most?
YouUnastanFren replied to ender4's topic in Other Football
I'm a child of the 90s. In a most hated PL club list the top 3 are: 1) United 2) United 3) United -
I don't think they will, I think he's been a victim of the same poorly designed infographic that Mings was. It showed his yellow card and a big number 5 next to it but that is actually just his shirt number as well

Irreverentad's Fantasy Premier League 2020/21

I brought in Nat Phillips for TAA to afford Kane because by my logic Liverpool had no fit CBs other than him so he was certain to partner Fabinho. Then Klopp completely Pepped me. God bless Danny Ings for saving my blushes. BGW is now upon us and I haven't finished building my DGW team but I'm out of time because I need to FH. Bit annoyed that I haven't navigated them well but choosing to bring Kane in and captain him instead paid off to soften the blow. -
By it's possible do you mean within the confines of FFP, or the amount NSWE are willing to invest or that it won't be possible to land our targets due to the new visa points system?
-
Marginal calls going with the onfield call in cricket are only for simulated hypotheticals like lbw where Hawkeye is predicting the path the ball would've taken. Tangible events that we have actual footage of like fouls in football require a different system imo.
-
I understand this viewpoint but that means all the extra on field calls United get will never be evened out. VAR should be trying to even the playing field imo, not just looking passively at the current uneven one
-
Mane just had what was in essence a very similar appeal to Pogba's against us. KWP leg already planted and Mane trips over the back of it and goes down. If VAR isn't going to enforce consistency on these and hide behind the defence that they're in a grey area that they won't touch then United are still at a massive advantage because they still get more calls in the first place and nothing has really changed.
-
I don't think we'll be able to sign players from European leagues of that size with the new VISA rules. @HanoiVillan has written a good explanation post in Other Football.

Ratings & Reactions: Man United v Villa
YouUnastanFren replied to limpid's topic in PL: Man United a
I don't believe Luiz tripped him over as much as he intentionally tripped himself on Luiz's leg. The contact between them (not including the foul Pogba is committing with his arm) was Pogba's toes on the back of Luiz's standing leg. From the angle they replayed repeatedly it looked like to me that Pogba brought his foot through at an unnatural angle to make sure it happened. Of course it's difficult to tell from the angle we saw whether Pogba turned his foot outwards to engineer the contact, the key angle (the one from directly behind them) was strangely only shown once at full speed not zoomed in. In real time when they cut to that angle I was thinking "Finally!" but then they just let it roll with a useless closeup of the ref for ages before the eventual cut back to a live shot of the ref instead of showing it close up and slowly like they did with the inconclusive first angle. Seemed almost conspiratorial at the time. https://streamable.com/6a30rg -
This isn't the first time the kid in goal has had a stinker. It might be age but I am starting to suspect he might just be one of those keepers who has an uncomfortable ratio of bad games to good.
-
He was maybe 1 yard too deep and did not have his feet separately set to defend the cross which was disappointing but can happen. The worrying part for me was the elbow on Martial. If the ball was closer to reaching him that could've cost us a penalty.

I can definitely see why people could think it was a penalty, but I don't. The reason I've seen for people saying it is a penalty is that Pogba clips his toes on Luiz's calf before he trips himself over. If that was caused by Luiz then there would be some substance to the penalty claim but Luiz had his leg planted and it looked to me that Pogba turned his toes unnaturally outwards in order to engineer that contact. -
Nah he signed nearer the start of the season iirc. Made his debut in like October against Wimbledon. Jan 1st had no significance for transfers back then, transfermarkt probably just defaults transfers as that if they were midseason transfers pre window
-
He was signed before transfer windows were introduced. My friend got a shirt with Merson on the back for Christmas that year so I'm sure it was before Jan he was signed.
-
Took his goal very well but he's still not fit enough. I'm sure it'll come eventually but the games are coming too thick and fast for him to actually get through any kind of cardio specific training. It'll just be prep for game, rest, game, rest, prep and nauseam.
