  1. The most memorable were the Star Wars and He Man figures. I was in the He Man fan club at one point, I remember writing in to it, asking what food Battlecat ate. I still remember the sheer joy of receiving the return letter, complete with stickers and the hugely disappointing answer to my question. What did Battlecat eat? Cat food! Other toys I remember having were the Ghostbusters figures, and one of my favourites - Micro Machines. I loved these, especially my prized Lamborghini Countach... which I tried to paint gold, and ruined.
  2. Luc Nilis probably holds the record, he was out forever
  3. It’s mind blowing that it’s still allowed to happen. Even after the Blackfish documentary cast light on the situation across the world.
  4. Another good podcast mate. I don’t have the time to listen to all the Villa podcasts but yours is always the first choice now. PS: you got any transfer news for me?
  5. I don’t think I’ve bought any new music since about 2003.
  6. The amount of times I’ve wanted to correct the nurse in this. It’s only the forecast return comment of “yes, you are, aren’t you?”, that’s stopped me
  7. Yeah but working from home, you’ve basically had since April off, right?
  8. Ordered an UGG care kit for the missus, £12, to go with some new boots I’ve bought her for Christmas. It was delivered today, opened the box to find a brand new pair of £200 boots. No care kit. I checked the emails and my bank, I’ve definitely only been charged £12, and the order shows that the care kit was delivered. Unfortunately they’re the wrong size for her, so they’ll go on eBay instead. I could return them, but where’s the fun in that?
  9. I used to know a few and wasn’t too bad myself, but that was in a previous life. Don’t know if he can help but you could try asking @danceoftheshamen
  10. People that put empty things cartons, jars bottles etc... back in the cupboard/fridge, because they’re too lazy to go outside to the recycling bin. Even though I’ve moved it to the back door, literally less than ten steps away. Then when questioned they say “oh I didn’t realise it was empty”. My 18yr old stepson has now taken to leaving the tiniest dregs in the bottom so he can claim it’s not empty, and therefore not his responsibility.

  12. Tesco do a beef alternative called Alt, it’s pretty good in stir fry type dishes and I can happily eat that instead of actual beef now. There’s also a range called vegilante (or something like that) which is decent too. My son’s a veggie, so more often than not now we cook veggie, just to save on cooking two separate meals. I still eat meat, but we try to have at least three meat free days a week.
  13. If you lined them all up, end-to-end. They’d reach halfway to Moseley

  15. Our December fixtures have been released. We’re only on the bloody BBC on Boxing Day! Home to Crystal Palace in front of the watching nation. Don’t **** this up Villa!
  16. Maradona! That’s a shocker but not really a surprise given his love for the old Peruvian flake. I wonder if god will ask for his hand back now?
  17. I hadn’t heard of Comoros before today, a quick search on Google maps and I’ve found something interesting near it. Follow the Mozambique Channel, South towards Madagascar, and there’s a small island named Europa Island. Zoom in and you’ll find a very rare, Edvard Munch’s Scream ice rink! Nice.
  18. Noddy Holder will like that. They earn over half a million a year in royalties from that song.
  19. That’s the only thing I took from the film. But even then it wasn’t a full frontal nude shower scene, just disappointing tbh.
