  1. I used to go for a large Big Mac meal, double cheeseburger, some of those cheese melt things rounded of with a volcanic apple pie. **** knows how many calories are in that lot, but it felt good eating it.
  2. I had that same thought, nice to scroll down and see I’m not the only one that thinks like that.
  3. I agree with @Xela, McDonald’s is basically legalised crack. The more you have it, the more you want it. I used to go regularly, even to the point of stopping at drive throughs for a cheeky double cheeseburger every time I passed one. Since March, I haven’t been once. I’ve kicked the addiction and will now never eat it again. The thing that’s pissing me off about the place now is the ridiculous queues that block the local retail parks when I want to collect a parcel. Sometimes 50 odd cars queuing all the out of the retail park and back to the dual carriageway. How desperate must you be to wait in that, just to get a quick hit of salt, sugar and cholesterol. Probably better of scoring a 0.2 of crack tbh. Can’t be much worse for your heart.
  4. That’s exactly who I was thinking of when I read @sidcow’s rant
  5. I’ve only just noticed your comment. Wondering what you meant... I googled it. I can safely say that stinks!
  6. Judging by that rabbit’s evil grin in picture 1, he knew what was coming. I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that he influenced the crash with his satanic rabbit mind.
  7. That’s the crux of it, I really can’t be bothered to take it further. I’ve got enough on without getting involved in things like this. I do speak to our in-house lawyer occasionally so I might mention it (with no names) and see what she thinks. There is a social media policy which should cover this, but a reminder from her of what’s acceptable and not, wouldn’t go amiss.
  8. He’s not actually injured, just playing the long game to not jeopardise his move to Villa.
  9. I wild carded in a new team before this last game week. I’m now stuck with three players on the bench that never play and three Villa players that will miss a week. With only one transfer to sort it out. Great!
  10. Yeah, it’s fine if the people being photographed have consented, but I know of plenty that haven’t.
  11. Thinking about toys I had brings back some good memories, but what about toys you were never allowed to have? Me, and most kids I knew, always wanted one of these but were never allowed. I don’t know why, did adults know something we didn’t about them? Were the syrups laced with LSD perhaps. Who knows.
  12. Edit: bad page break! In reference to @mottaloo’s post.
  13. I feel a bit like that. I’ve had people at work wanting to take photos of me so they can promote whatever it is I’m doing at the time on the business social media accounts. Kinda pisses me off, I’m not on Snapchat, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter etc.. for a reason. I don’t want my face plastered all over it without my consent. It’s happening loads on MS Teams this year, people slyly taking screenshots then plastering them all over LinkedIn. Wish they’d all just feck off. I guess that makes me a grumpy clearing in the woods, but like all grumpy clearings in the woods, I don’t care.
  14. Cool, this means my wife will be in the first stage of vaccinations. I should add that I’m not married to a 90 year old, my missus just works there
  15. Celebrity Kung Fu Gruffalo is my highlight, it promises to be one hell of a show.
  16. Yeah taking a flight doesn’t seem necessary at all, what’s wrong with a couple of coaches? A three or four hour drive with the players sat relaxing on a luxury coach is no hardship. If the players can’t handle that, then maybe they should have checked where Newcastle is before signing.
  17. I’m sure at times he wishes that he’d never scored those goals at Brentford. Especially when he’s sat in the dilapidated, stinking changing room at the sty, looking around at the group of ugly misfits wondering where it all went wrong.
  18. We could play both teams at the same time. A bit like a royal rumble, with less violence as VAR wouldn’t like that. Maybe have two footballs on the pitch at the same time. Then charge fans £65 to watch this new and exiting product.
  19. If the rules were supposedly saying that games would still go ahead with a minimum playing squad of 14. Then how many of their players have actually tested positive? Some, a few? What’s to stop another team deciding to request postponement if they have a couple of key players out? Could Liverpool have requested to postpone their game when Salah, Shakiri, Keita and Alacantra were isolating? The precedent has been set now, what’s to stop any team doing this. I should say, I don’t have a problem with player and staff safety. That comes first, and it’s debatable whether football should even be played at all right now. The problem is with the way it’s been handled, much like the governments handling of the pandemic, it’s a sack of shit.
  20. We did play well last night, and we really should have had the three points on the balance of play. Silly little mistakes and some unjust VAR officiating undid the largely dominant display. If we keep playing like this and can cut out the errors, we’ll win more than we lose.
  21. Play it or forfeit. The only two options I would accept.
  22. The relationship thread is still open, I’m sure there’s handy tips there to help you fellas... even at your ages.
  23. This completely passed me by! Not a good draw that for Liverpool, they’d have had high hopes for winning the cup. Never mind!
  24. Team one. Then I’d drop Southgate and tell him that he needs to prove himself in the U18s. Team three is the best though on balance.
