    I based my dissertation on this when at Uni. Looking into how the Kennel Club's breed definitions had impacted upon breeds, the resulting health issues and all the legalities involved. Was very interesting (for me at least) to write but somewhat depressing.

    I read it as he was saying both. Teams pass it about to much doing pointless passes which makes it easy for strikers like Lukaku and Tammy. But that the league and style of play was also not good enough compared to other countries saying that they didn't have good enough players to play a 'Spanish' style and should try a 'German' or 'Italian' one (his words not mine).

    Wouldn't surprise me if it was BoJo or Gove leaking it. Damages Sunak's leadership bid and diverts attention away from them and any direct links they have to Russia.

    If you're adding in resistance training try to add in some exercises to ensure you don't get muscle irregularities and joint/posture problems. Doesnt need to be anything major but if you're doing quads (thighs) make sure you also do some hamstring work. If you do chest/shoulders make sure you do some rear shoulder work. Let me know if you need any advice on that (maybe in the Gym thread) and I'd be happy to help.

    Not been through this myself so can't really offer any advice (apart from what I've said previously having been a child of divorce). I can say I sympathise as it sounds awful and picturing going through it myself is not pleasant. Try and remember you've got loads of people on here routing for you. I've seen friends/colleagues in similar situations have fun with 'online dating' and some ridiculously attractive girls in their early 20s so at least you may have that to look forward to.

    I don't like Sunak, I really don't like him and I think the petrol forecourt stuff is ridiculous. However, I'm fairly certain I don't know every single place that my wife has invested or saved money and I 100% don't know where my father in law has put any money he has. However if I found out they were investing in Russia and links to Putin then I would be challenging them on it.

    You only have to speak to people who's only exposure is international tournaments to see that the vast majority of people already see him as a great and one of the best ever managers we've had. Not looking to the fact that we have a very decent squad with world class attacking talent and have been blessed with easy fixtures along the way. He really should have won one of the tournaments considering how it all lined up.

    Whilst I have virtually zero interest in the England team and the last one didn't exactly go brilliant with stuff like Wembley being stormed, I'm hopeful Southgate might just have gone by then. My son will also be about 10 or 11 at this point and this would likely be the first tournament he really understands (maybe 2026) and it would be great for him with it being hosted here.

    24 points and a 60k red arrow for me. Not been a great few weeks but hopefully people are starting to run out of WCs, BBs and FHs which have been killers. Plan to use mine around the upcoming big doubles to try and catch up again.

    Thanks. Feel really good. Much better weight for me, especially as I've managed to keep most of the muscle I had. Going to keep at it and try to get abs for the first time since I was in my early 20s. Keep at it bud. Losing a stone and a half already is really good progress.

    Amazon have bought MGM Studios meaning they've acquired the rights to The Hobbit. No doubt they'll release a follow up to Trop featuring Bilbo as soon as they can. Is it worth renaming this thread to focus upon the whole Tolkien universe (films, shows and books) rather than having separate threads?

    MynIrish mates still routing for France to win. They'd rather not win the tournament then see England win a game. Really don't understand that approach but each to their own.

    4 players down including my captain and I'm on 2 points. This is going to be a memorable week.

    Managed to hit my target weight! Have dropped from nearly 15 stone to under 13. Feeling so much better at this weight and feel I can keep pushing through to at least 12.5 stone which would give a nice rebound buffer.

    I transferred him in last week on a - 4. After games against Everton and Leeds he's still costing me 4 points. Painful captain choice bud.
