Irreverentad's Fantasy Premier League 2021/22
Rds1983 replied to Rds1983's topic in Games and Gaming
I think I'm selling James and will either get Rudi or a Arsenal /Spurs defender. Will probably also swap TAA for Robbo. Really torn on Cancelo though. Is Pep going to focus on Champs League or the league with Liverpool potentially challenging? -
Beat me to it by seconds pffftttt.

It still largely comes down to calories in vs calories out. Intermittent fasting just helps keep the calories in down. It does supposedly offer some other benefits.

Stumbled across Guardians of Justice on Netflix. Really not sure what to make of it after 2 episodes. Nice to see DDP doing something but he's not exactly a brilliant actor and he's not a batman (imitation).

If the source material has set rules for certain things or given characters specific traits/personality then that should be respected. However, it doesn't necessarily mean that the adaptation is bad if they do. What is daft though is getting upset if characters are different ethnicities or don't have beards as surely there's more important things in the world to worry about.

I completely agree with having coffee. Essential to even be awake let alone do some exercise while fasting. I have about 2 a day but have switched milk out for almond milk.

Depending on the coffee it can actually be a lot more than that. A Latte can be anywhere from 100-200 kcal. However, I think the complaints are more that it's a stimulant. I actually really like their products. Their factory is near here and they've got a wider range. Their 'tasty' is good and kinda like a normal smoked one and their spreadable is great. You're right on the standard one though that it is a weird consistency and perhaps too much fat has been taken out.

I think it's only a slight muscle problem and that he should be back for the Newcastle game. -

James to miss the Norwich match apparently. Muscle problem in the other leg. Disappointing but I can live it as I've got 36 points out of him this week. -
Dark Elves are generally seen as on the side of evil (but not necessarily). It can be viewed as a racial thing, especially when viewed against how people react to it. Community got into this whole problem when they did a Dungeon's and Dragon's episode (actually a really good episode that deals with bullying and thoughts of suicide) and one of the characters dressed as a dark elf. The episode has subsequently been pulled from places like Netflix as it was viewed as blackface and some of the black characters reacted negatively to it.

You'll see some people say that having coffee doesn't count as true IF. Ignore them! Good luck with it and if you find it enjoyable let me know and I can try and source some good YouTube videos on it. Just remember to distract yourself and that it's perfectly okay to be hungry.

I always try to get 6-10k steps in before I eat breakfast (school run and then crosstrainer) and sometimes skip breakfast altogether on a rest day. I find it works well. You'll need to distract yourself when you first start doing it as you'll be used to eating at certain times. Have a glass of water or go for a walk or something and the hunger usually passes within 20/30 minutes.

Don't be rushed into making a decision that will affect not only the rest of your life but also hers and both of the kids. You risk making the wrong decision that way. Deep down she'll know this too. Make the right decision not the quick/easy one. Hopefully Friday's session helps you make that but if you need longer then take it.

Just finished Rick and Morty s5. Brilliant as usual but I'll be honest I have no idea what that last episode was about.

A lot has already been said in here so I'll be brief on my thoughts. First, know that whilst none of us know you in real life we are all here offering support in any way we can. Second, you already know that this sucks. But remember that it will get better in time. Whatever happens and whatever you decide to do in time things will be good again. Third, you're not alone in being cheated on and it doesn't make you less of a man. It can happen to anyone and my ex cheated on me (long time ago). Fourth, only you can decide what you want to do. Don't be pressured into anything that ultimately doesn't work for you. It will not work well long term. Whatever you choose, if it's your choice, you can make it work. Lastly, as a child of divorce, if you're choosing something for your kids just make sure that you are choosing what's best for them and not what's actually best for you. My Dad stayed with my Mum for an extra 20 years after they first nearly split up. That included a bandaid baby and he then only stayed until she was 16. Honestly, I wish he hadn't. It was a toxic environment and I could tell something was wrong. Nobody was actually happy and me and my siblings all have some issues because of it. If he'd actually left it would have been a clean break and given everyone a chance to move on and for my folks to actually mend their relationship. If I split from my wife it would be awful not seeing my son everyday but I think it would be worse for him to grow up in a house with 2 parents not getting along. But everyone is different and you need to figure out what works best for you all. I really don't envy you but will happily talk things through if I can help.

Sorry to read all this bud. From talking to you in the gym thread I know you like working out. It always works wonders for me in helping me process things. Go get an hour or two in, put your phone on airplane mode to ignore everything and just focus on the weights for a bit. It'll help you to release some of the tension and stress.

Irreverentad's Fantasy Premier League 2021/22

My very bright start has fizzled out as predicted. Hoping Thursday night turns it around again as still have a few to go. -
All these issues but they still made a great set of films. Unlike the Hobbit which sucks.

Just an additional 45 minutes extra footage per film. The extended footage could be a good length movie in it's own right. Been a while since I watched it and remember finding it interesting but easy to understand why it was cut out.

Sounds like a plan. I'll FH in 33 (wasted the other one) and do similar for the BB. -

Not going to wait until 31 to avoid the blank? Guessing you'll FH. -
I just wish everyone would ignore him and stop reacting to the nonsense he spouts (I'm aware of the irony in posting this here) as that way he might stop getting coverage.

There has been people calling out Abrahamovich for years, just like there are people calling out Newcastle's ownership now. You are right that the higher levels of the game have historically turned a blind eye and there's an argument that the current gestures are somewhat shallow. However, events change people's opinions and people grow. Just as standards that were in place in 2003 should have evolved by now. It's better that they're trying now than not trying at all. If Chelsea fans want to thank Abrahamovich for his investment, fine. Personally I don't like it and see it in a similar way I haven't liked where some of Villa's money has come from (gambling sponsors or the Targett loan). However, deciding to chant his name during a minute's silence is not respectable. Even if it had nothing to do with Ukraine or Putin just keep quiet for 60 seconds and then chant.

Clearly captained Rudiger on FPL and didn't want to lose the Chelsea clean sheet bonus.

Could all change with the Norwich game. I'm sure Mount will get some points against them.
