Lower Decks is fantastic and it being animated allows them so much scope for creativity. It works on several levels, gets better with each viewing and is jam packed with Easter eggs. Discovery is dire. I've tried it but just can't enjoy it. I have almost no desire to watch the latest series. Burnham is an awful lead character and the supporting ones aren't great. -
Winning the League's Best (most valuable) Player award (as well as several others) probably helps his confidence too. Also reckon even someone like Ronaldo would have had their confidence a tad dented if he'd had to play in that Lambert side.

Really annoys me when someone forwards on a meeting invitation without explaining to the Chair (i.e. Me), who this random person is and why they should be on the call.

Only reason for it I can think of is that maybe a private swimming club has hired the lanes and won't let general public in. But surely they'd just close the whole pool if that was the case?

My local leisure centre has the same problem. I don't mind half the pool being taken up by lane swimming as I occasionally do that myself and you don't want kids in the way. What not keen on and don't understand is the number of people who ignore the lanes and instead do endless lengths in the family swim area.

Loved Ds9 when it came out (quite possibly just for Dax) and loved it even more on watching more recently. Garak is a fantastic character and one that grows the more you watch him. The short time he's in the war room he's able to convey so much. I also love how he developed things like his own claustrophobia into part of the character. They were also able to develop the Ferengi from bad B-list villains used for just comedic purposes into genuinely interesting characters. Jeffrey Combs was also fantastic as Weyloun and all the other various characters he's portrayed. -

As @maqroll says above try getting out and socialising in some way. Keep yourself busy. Talking to people helps, even if it's just with strangers on here.

Episode 1 was okay but episode 2 was very good. I just don't want to have to wait ages for the rest of it. Just release them all at once.

Started watching s2 of Picard after hearing good things. Didn't realise it's a weekly release and only 2 episodes are out yet.

My view might be tarnished somewhat as first time I saw it was when my wife and I hadn't been together long and were watching it at her place. It was so long we stopped half way for a break to have sex.

I actually kinda like Kingdom of Heaven. If it didn't have Bloom as the lead and cut some of the unnecessary bits it would be a very good film.

In fairness and having been to Middlesbrough before. I would also consider any trip there to be gruelling.
