  1. Do you think Spurs will beat Newcastle? There's a long way to go and my feeling is we will be back in 4th before the season ends, whether we stay there is a different matter. Tbh we need to try and sit back and enjoy the race rather than turning into an ordeal, we have done amazingly well to get here so may as well bask in the glory now. UTV
  2. I can't see the difference between this and the Man City game, I would sacrifice this game, get some of the fringe players experience and leave ourselves fresher for the Lille game, we have a much better chance there than at Arsenal with a 2 day rest to their 4.
  3. Not really, 2 day rest when they have 4 and our squads on its knees with injuries and Doug being out, a difficult game to play against Lille. If Spurs get a result away away to Newcastle then it may change things but I can't see it tbh, difficult game for them.
  4. Same team that started at man City, hopefully we can keep it tighter for longer ( I would swap Konsa for Carlos and give kesler and chance, nothing to lose tbh)
  5. He should be prosecuted as well, disgusting watching people going to prison when you know the evidence is flawed, why stick your head out now, because it's safe to do so and he can get some air time out of it, weasel.
  6. Great film, gripping from start to finish, Timothée Chalamet was captivating, in fact he has been in some great films, "The King" was superb and "Call me by your name as well" great film.
  7. He's so good, watching him over the last few games and you can see him growing in personality as well as on the pitch. He's the best striker I have seen play for villa, world class.
  8. I largely agree, tough ask next week with our fixtures and injuries. We give the ball away far to cheaply, especially on our right side (I moan at Cash for cutting back and keeping it safe but......) Time and time again we lose possession playing forward balls that aren't a good choice, they are 50/50 balls and when we lose them we have no players who seem to be able to regain possession without fouling or blocking a shot in or around our box, it's happening game after game. Konsa is a big concern, he's reverting to trying to ref the game rather than play it, arm in the air , stops playing, dangerous with crap refs.
  9. I think we go for the killer 3rd and leave ourselves exposed, we lose our risk aversion and thr game becomes end to end, just like Brentford. It doesn't help that certain players, Doug, McGinn and Tielemans aren't very good off the ball with the opposition in possession, a tackle is a foul, picking up lose balls isn't evident and standing next to an opposition player isn't a priority.
  10. They paused the north stand because they didn't want to disrupt our on field progress, if we get into Europe a building site behind the goal isn't going to look good. They will have an answer to the problem we just haven't heard it yet.
  11. It's either development of a new ground or the old one and both come with hard to solve issues but we need to solve them one way or another and that's what great leaders do, solve difficult issues. You don't and we won't get anywhere by waiting 5 years, the problem will just grow bigger. Emery goes and we're just another Leeds, sitting in an old ground with no revenue from it hoping to self fund with a top 4 finish year on year isn't a solution, dining on the glory days we/they had a lifetime ago.
  12. Look who's on that list. They are all top 6 clubs, we are the only one with no plan whether that be a new ground or a development of the existing. The problem with the later is we need somewhere to play and the income it generates while the development is underway, a new ground gets around that issue.
  13. Standing still has worked for which club?
  14. Just watched the 6th episode of Ripley, it's great TV, binge worthy.
  15. Bayer Leverkusen will not have played against a West Ham style team , they stand a chance of getting something.
  16. Got to leave space for someone with a big head and weak bladder to sit in front of you, could put the radio on as well to to try and create the "thrush" with an important telephone/conversation.
  17. It's very good, he's one hell of a character and the scenes are beautifully shot.
  18. Can't think of a better English Premier league player atm, foden on his day but over a season it has to be Ollie, Superb player, Dean Smith picked a diamond.

    Weather...

Looks like it's been removed, it's a weather radar app, should be more available. Fwiw mine still works It's raining BTW
  20. Going forward he would make a difference to Konsa, Brentford just let Konsa run freely and doubled up on Bailey, Konsa looked lost up there and checked back, wish he would just run into the space in front of him and make the defender engage. We badly need a RB.
  21. He went on a walk about for their first goal, God knows what he was thinking. Torres looked bewildered by it. Great in the tackle though and loves wrestling.
