    Manure 14 fouls and no yellow cards, Bournemouth 13 fouls and 4 yellow cards, this has happened consistently all season with the so called top 6 benefitting, it needs to be addressed.

    West Ham win tomorrow and manure down to 8th, just need cov to beat them next week and its sack the manager time and a complete rebuild, 4th my arse.

    Not sure why posters are getting so worked up.The facts are clear, the club has cancelled the north stand, fact. They have said there's no plans to move , fact. The ground has kept us being something when we was on our knees, Villa Park was one of the best and biggest stadiums in the country, now its not, in 5 years time It will be ooutdated and if we're where we want to go then it will be holding us back. I can't see how villa Park can be developed, enough, while we're playing there. It's just not going to work. As fans none of us should be happy with us doing nothing, should we? If the owners are then they arent serious about us , are they?

    Almost anyone can beat anyone in this league, our game was close against Spurs, even at 2-0, McGinn lost his head and we went on to get well beat. Spurs lack a striker tbh, they have managed without one and their loan striker just isn't good enough, Duran is better tbh and that's shocking. Newcastle are a good team on their day , Isak is one hell of a striker , top 3 with Halland and Ollie. They also work like trojans out of possession, which is something we need to be looking at. Add that to our game and we would be very very competitive.

    It's not really the ground, I love villa Park, it's the surrounding area and it's potential for development into an area for recreation, like Man City. Aston just hasn't got that potential in space alone, add to that it hasn't got great transport links and we have to play somewhere while it's been upgraded, North stand alone would be 12 months add the the other stands....its 4 years playing in a building site of one stand or another, just not going to happen.

    You have to have vision. Look at Man City and their ground. Stick that in the middle of the country with fantastic transport links and the potential is huge.

    I don't think any game is a sure thing tbh, it wouldn't surprise me if this went to the last game of the season.

    Newcastle are so good out of possession, closing down, pressure the ball without fouling, great performance, they will get 6th .

    Apart from away where Watkins scored, guy might be quick but he can't turn, he's fell over both times , isak is a top top striker though. Great game BTW

    A Newcastle win today puts them above manure, for at least half an hour.

    There in it for the long term, experts in marketing, close connections with Heck. This is big news, as big as Emery signing especially for the long term future of us competing at the top of the game and getting more influence over the powers that be (sky) New ground, not quite yet, we need all our income to go into the team until we , with their help, can increase our income. Watch for some land purchases in the area over the next 6-12 months. (From a holding company)

    They also have Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City to play, can't see them picking up max points from them games.

    Yep, Bailey needs to vary his runs, go outside sometimed and drive it from the byline. Emery has largely got the players he started with and to me, as great as our midfield is in possession, out of possession they are to similar poor in the tackle, not great in the air amd dont mark up well, with Kamara out we look exposed to runners through the middle.

    Do you think Spurs will beat Newcastle? There's a long way to go and my feeling is we will be back in 4th before the season ends, whether we stay there is a different matter. Tbh we need to try and sit back and enjoy the race rather than turning into an ordeal, we have done amazingly well to get here so may as well bask in the glory now. UTV

    I can't see the difference between this and the Man City game, I would sacrifice this game, get some of the fringe players experience and leave ourselves fresher for the Lille game, we have a much better chance there than at Arsenal with a 2 day rest to their 4.

    Not really, 2 day rest when they have 4 and our squads on its knees with injuries and Doug being out, a difficult game to play against Lille. If Spurs get a result away away to Newcastle then it may change things but I can't see it tbh, difficult game for them.
