  1. I like the home, it reminds me of both the 1984 and the 1988 one. The collar's a bit odd though.
  2. Apparently he was knocked over and fell flat on his face. (sorry)
  3. Romero is going to be so angry about this, we should all be very scared.
  4. I’m so confused, I thought they were going to be 4th this weekend?
  5. Screenshots of QR codes won’t work tomorrow apparently. That’s what I usually do. You have to use Villa app, apple/google wallet or print at home. Unlike the last cup game where you could use your season card. Can’t they just stick to one system?
  6. Nah that's fine, probably a more appropiate thread. I still haven't got round to reporting it to be honest, but I will do. The only thing I could fine was that number to text but I think that might be for during the game, which is when I probably should have done it.
  7. Even though I'm a feministian, I like to check out the muscles of the other dads in the playground and to be honest, I reckon I could beat them all off.
  8. Maybe not the right thread for this, but there a fairly young bloke who sits about 7 rows behind me in K7 who might be the angriest person I’ve ever encountered. I hear him throughout every game screaming, shouting, effing and jeffing. He must think everybody thinks he’s funny and everybody wants to hear what he has to say. A few weeks he booed and shouted “fk off with your fkin woke bollocks” when a message about Villa Park not tolerating homophobia, racism and sexism etc was played over the speakers and on the big screens. Yesterday he was shouting homophobic shit and screamed racist stuff about Son. So yeah, I’m going to report the c***.
  9. Just like how Yesterday came to Paul McCartney in a dream, I woke up around 3am with this masterpiece going round in my head. To the tune of Billy Joel's We Didn't Start the Fire;- "Super John McGinn's on fire, Morgan Rogers makes us touch our todgers." I expect that'll be belted out from the Holte on Sunday then.
  10. I read recently that this was the same original Witton Lane stand shown here, it just had the rolling barrel roof replaced. Is that right?
  11. I don’t know what you were all so worried about..
  12. The nobs who sits next to me in the upper holte still think he’s overrated.
  13. How has that prick not been booked yet?
  14. I had stomach cramps again on last night's run. It's pretty much the same everytime, where the run doesn't go too well and I'm struggling a little, but with no pain, but then as soon as I stop my watch and start walking I'm on my knees holding my stomach. It's waves of intense pain about every 30 seconds for about 10-15 minutes after the run. It doesn't really seem anything to do with going to the toilet. Trusty google tells me it's probably dehydration.
  15. Well she was just 17, if you know what I mean?
  16. Yup, this was me last night. I didn’t realise until I’d got home. Peeling off the tshirt wasn’t pleasant.
  17. Whenever I get joggers nipple, I always assume it’ll be the last time. Why would you ever let that happen again? Just put plasters on or some Vaseline before your run. But nope, it still gets me occasionally.
  18. Thanks man, it was at Chasewater. I like doing a bit of parkrun tourism, so that was my 44th different event. I wasn't really expecting a PB, just a great bonus of marathon training I think. I liked the course though, because it opens up quite quickly into wide paths. I hate parkruns where you're tripping over each others ankles for the first mile or so. Good luck with yours, where you heading?
  19. At the end of the season, they used to sell off player worn kits and the like in the club shop. For over 10 years, after every shower, I've been drying myself with one of two towels - Darren Bent's and Charles N'Zogbia's.
  20. I just did this. It was horrible I only managed 5 miles though, I had to head home because of stomach cramps. I think that’s the 3rd time I’ve had that whilst running that in the last few weeks, first time I’ve had to stop though. I got a parkrun PB at the weekend though - 22:14. I took 8 seconds off the time I set in 2018, so I was really happy with that.
  21. That's something I never would have thought about to be honest, but of course a wheelchair user is going to have trouble using one of those machines and those ones you get at mcdonalds and KFC etc. I'm sure there's loads of other day to day difficulties I've never considered.
