  1. At work, there can only be a certain amount of people off on annual leave at any one time. Makes sense, so in January they get everyone to request their 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th choices to make it fair. I have kids and my wife’s a teacher, so I always want 2 weeks off in the summer. Last year I put the first 2 weeks in August as my first choice and the last 2 weeks of August as my second choice. I was told I couldn’t have 4 weeks off in August. I said I didn’t want 4 weeks off, that’s my 1st and 2nd choice. They said this isn’t how this works. I said that’s EXACTLY how 1st and 2nd choice should work. So this year I’ve put the last 2 weeks of August as my first choice. If I can’t have that because there’s already too many people off, at least I’ll get my 2nd choice of…February half term. Makes PERFECT sense.
  2. I think he might have the world’s smallest penis
  3. My 64 year old mom text me last night because she was getting an error message she didn’t understand when trying to install Microsoft Teams on her phone. I asked her why she needed Microsoft Teams and she said her work have updated their systems and she was required to download it. She said most of her colleagues have been having trouble installing it too. She works in a supermarket. Stacking shelves and working checkouts. Microsoft Teams. On their own devices. In a supermarket. Stacking shelves. Sat on checkouts. Required. What kind of c*#*%!<*{ has rolled this out?
  4. Nah, come on, we don’t. Whoever bicks named is the winner, I trust him. Let’s all move on now.
  5. I scrolled past it on Facebook earlier thinking it was a crappy fan made one. I hate it. I know we’ve been over this, some people don’t mind the lion facing right on this seasons badge*, but it really bothers me when I see it, it’s just looks wrong to me. It’s miles better than this AI generated one though. *”this seasons badge” haha what a ridiculous thing to have to say.
  6. I love the fact he just DOESN’T CARE if he offends anybody. He cares so little if he offends anybody, he doesn’t mind reminding you about it after every weak joke with a 10 minute lecture about it. We’re not offended Ricky, just bored.
  7. Nah guys, come on, I’ve won fair and square. @bickster’s word is final. It’s my trophy!!! Hands off!
  8. Anfield silent. And then Newcastle scored.
  9. Two hits last year, so two new ones. Mel Brooks Dick Van Dyke James Bolam Eileen Derbyshire Jimmy Carter
  10. I’d like to say I was surprised to log in here and see people moaning.
  11. I think there was an awful lot of white snow on the Upper Holte today. Bell end central.
  12. I used to love Ricky Gervais, but I thought afterlife was awful and his last few stand up shows have been really weak. Some crappy joke like “you can always tell a transgender bloke by their big hands” and then a 10 minute lecture about why he doesn’t care if that joke offends someone. Then telling us about someone tweeting him about god and how he silenced them by replying something really witty like “which god are you talking about? Zeus?” or another line he’s been dining out on for 15 years. All my opinion of course, maybe I’m just a woke snowflake and he’s just too edgy for me nowadays.
  13. Bah!! Throughout the year, I’ll read some article about a celebrity with a terminal illness or a photo of them looking like death and think “must remember to pop them on my list”. I can’t remember one.
  14. There’s a miserable, moaning bellend that sits behind me in K7 that has been quiet this season, he hasn’t had much to complain about. Mouthing off from the first minute tonight though, along with a few others.
  15. This kind of thing has been talked about before on here, but The Grimleys was first made in 1997 and set in 1975. That's only 22 years difference, but the difference in the music, the fashion, the attitudes etc is huge. I remember watching it as a kid and felt like ancient history. I reckon if you showed a kid today a TV show that was set in 2001, I don't think they would notice too much, apart from maybe the phones and computers being a bit rubbish.
  16. I wouldn't worry about if you like what's happening or not at the moment, there'll be a change of plan again in the new year anyway. I'm looking forward to the 2025/26 crest being unveiled in a few months time!
