    I think like most kids, my 4 year old never really tells you anything about what’s happened at school. Today though, he’s told me several times already that he’s told his teacher that I haven’t got a willy.

    Yeah, my dad’s mate took me to quid a kid at st Andrew’s when I was 8 or 9. My first ever football match, Blues v Tranmere around 1994/95. Even their schemes fail, we’re all Villa fans.

    I’ve been trying to get under 24mins at my home parkrun for a few years now. After 57 runs there, I got 23:11 on Saturday. Then I did the Wolverhampton 10k yesterday and got 47:15, taking more than two minutes off my P.B. It’s a shame it started and finished at the molineux, but I was delighted this weekend.

    I did the Stafford Half Marathon on Sunday. My P.B is 1hr50 and I thought as I’m in the middle of marathon training I could probably knock a few minutes off. I set off at 8 minute miles and tried to stay with the 1hr45 pacer. Either my maths is wrong or he was going way too fast as he disappeared over the horizon early on. There’s a few big hills and I never really recovered from the one on mile 5. Finish time of 1:52:15. Never mind, lessons learned. I’m doing the Leamington half in June, so I’ll try again then.
