  1. I’m 99.99% sure that Russell Brand was the high profile comedian that Katherine Ryan called out months ago.
  2. Erm, I would like to clarify that I was talking about the celebrity scandal. The other posts about that have been removed and now it just looks like I’ve posted that in the nonce thread.
  3. Oh man, why do I love this kind of thing?
  4. I’m not sure if it’s close, but I park on Thomas Street, just off Park Lane. It’s about a 15 minute walk through Aston Park. I suppose it depends which way you’re heading after the game, but there’s rarely much traffic for me heading towards the Matalan island.
  5. I can remember collecting quite a few of these two as a kid, but definitely didn’t complete either. The dinosaur one had different images in each week for your 3D glasses, but also one piece of a glow in the dark T-Rex model.
  6. I've understood the hype around Arsenal and Ajax kits the last few years, some have been beauties, but I haven't really liked any of the Venezia kits, I'm not sure why people love them.
  7. Ooh, I've not embedded a tikitok before, don't know if this'll work
  8. I started a new job last year and it’s quite an in-depth role with a lot to learn. You also have to communicate a lot with colleagues. With everybody doing 3 days at home a week, I feel like it’s probably taken me 3 times as long to learn/get trained on my role and build a rapport with colleagues, or even just put a face to a name. I’d say that’s my only criticism of it though. The flexibility of working from home has really allowed me to keep my masturbation schedule.
  9. Horses for courses and all that but I’m the same with gigs. I think I’ve been to 2 or 3 gigs in the last 15 years and didn’t enjoy them I think I almost pretended to like going to them as a yoof, much like clubbing. I used to enjoy saying I’d seen a band live, but never really liked going. Sweaty, too hot, crowds, too loud, shite beer, standing up for hours. Nah, not for me. Give me a comfy chair to sit in and watch a comedian over all that any day.
  10. That’s one thing I think we can all agree on. Savage is a clearing in the woods.
  11. I think most supermarkets have copied tesco now and have their version of the "clubcard price", but I've just been in the cornershop by me and even they've got one. A whole aisle of items on a good offer and then in small print on the ticket; if you download this app. Piss off.
  12. You used to be cool, @Seat68, I used to like you. But you've just compared Bottom to Mrs Brown's Boys and now we can't be friends.
  13. Fawlty Towers was never funny.
  14. I'm just looking through old squads to remind myself. I vastly over-rated/had higher expectations for; Amavi, Vlaar, Allback, Routledge, Maloney, Carruthers, Ireland, Okore, Hogan, McCormack, Gil.
  15. Weird ebay question; I had a bid on an item and the auction ended last night whilst I was at the game. When I had phone signal again, I got a notification saying 'this item got away' and I could see that I was well outbid by two other people. Then I saw there was an option to 'View Relisted Item'. The item was back on, 7 day left on it, starting at 99p. But this time there was a 'Buy it now' option which was less than my orignal bid and a lot less than the higher bids, so I bought it. My question is....what's happened there?
  16. Southgate will be telling him he needs to move to a bigger club...like Middlesbrough.
  17. Possibly, but I think it goes hand in hand for me. The prices have gone up and the concourses have got worse because of the space taken up by the TV. I think someone mentioned further up in this thread that we pay for our season tickets to watch the games and we're not paying for the facilities. Maybe that's true, but either way, I'd rather not be spending the last 10 minutes of the half wondering if me and my small bladdered dad should risk missing a goal and start heading down now to avoid a long queue for a piss. We were there an hour before kick off against Everton and there was already a 5-10 minute queue for a drink, 5 or 6 peope in front of us. I've given up on the idea of getting refreshments at half-time. Hopefully they've at least swept the floors a little before tonight, that'd be appreciated. Sorry, I've gone on a rant again. It's still winding me up
