  1. Triple jeopardy was taken out, right?
  2. Justice is done there, IMO.
  3. She didn't clip her back foot, the attacker moves her foot back and effectively kicks the defender. Laughable decision.
  4. How is the review taking this long when it clearly isn't a foul? Wtf is going on?
  5. What an absolute embarrassment. Completely misses the ball and claims for a penalty, haha.
  6. This has never been the case for offside, no matter what ill-informed English commentators say. Offside is considered a matter of fact, not interpretation, so 'clear and obvious' errors never come in to it, VAR is always able to overrule even if it's not an obvious error.
  7. Agreed. I don't have a problem with VAR in general, I think it makes the game fairer, and I have no issue with the call that was made tonight, by the rules of the game it was 100% correct. Having goals rules out for being a fraction of an inch offside just seems ridiculous though.
  8. It was offside, by the current rule. that's why I said I think the current offside rule is ridiculous rather than arguing the ref got it wrong. I think the 'daylight' interpretation was more in the spirit of the rule than freezeframing and trying to identify someone being offside by millimeters.
  9. **** ridiculous ruling out a goal for that. Offside is BS these days.
  10. There's no point comparing it to the men's. It's a spectacle, as any global tournament is, and if you can enjoy it for that, it's well worth a watch, but if you're wanting to watch a decent level of football? Nah. It's just objectively a lower standard of play than almost any organised men's match. The quality throughout is poor, everything is far more slow and error prone. watch them 'break' forward then just kind of dither for a few seconds over every pass. Passing is generally inaccurate, and every pass and shot is much weaker than you'd see in any male game above kid's levels. It's made me realise Neil Taylor could be the best in the world if he had a sex change
  11. Eugh. Roundneck apologist. We're going to need to split in to Aston Villa FC and FC Villa of Aston. I won't be in the same ground as someone that's so wrong.
  12. Thought I'd check this out. Those **** clearings in the woods in the brass band play at the women's games as well? **** it, I'm out. Hope someone shoots the words removed.
  13. You're confident of the existence of humans in 100 years? You'#re more optimistic than me.
  14. Funny how different opinions can be isn't it, I think the current home shirt is dreadful. Love the training gear and away kit, but the stripes and claret sleeves? Nah. That's not a Villa home shirt, for me. This is the shirt I think I'll always be going back to. Classic design, no fancy bullshit, no gimmicks, just a brilliant Villa home top. I'd take this every single season.
  15. It's claret body, blue sleeves. Wtf do you want?
  16. It's a good job that there's so much good will flying around that these tickets sell themselves, because the ticket office are **** shite.
  17. Ah wasn't thinking about youth level. Good shout then. Definitely not Barry actually, I didn't realise just how long ago it was he left.
  18. Ireland wouldn't have played with Sturridge? Gareth Barry, I reckon.
  19. Today is the day that David Moyes' contract should have ended.
  20. See, I know I will think Kylie is shite, so what I do, is I don't watch it. Why sit through something you know you're not going to like? Pretty much the reason I haven't turned on Glasto in years to be fair.
  21. And then he cried. Those tears are so delicious I'd lick them off his racist face.
  22. Southampton have brought through a hell of a lot of youth players, they're one of the best in the country in terms of their academy and bringing through youth. This guy's 23 and hasn't managed to make much of an impression in 5 years. This seems like a lot of money for a PL fringe player. When the other teams fans are rubbing their hands together, delighted with the money they've got for one of their players, it's a worrying sign. To be fair to him, he was good at Fulham, so hopefully he can make the step up as a regular starter.
  23. It does seem like a laughable endeavour. When I visit VP I want to get in and out of the surrounding area as quickly as possible. Who'd want to stay in a hotel near there?! Even for fans who travel a very long way and stay overnight, you'd go to the city centre surely? There's **** all else in Witton.
  24. And they haven't. Of course, that wasn't the question that was being asked, so he simply answered a different, more convenient question instead. Spot on, @Junxs Frankly, I think it makes an absolute laughing stock of these meetings. They're very open, honest, and transparent, as long as you ask the questions that they want to answer. they may as well just fire out a press release.
