Yeah I wasn't disagreeing. Just saying he had time and money to do more with it than he has done.

But his biggest mistake is that he had the time to sign a couple of players. I understand that he didn't want to disrupt the current squad too much, but the time and money was there. The summer window for them was a massive shambles. I like MOyes, and I think he'll be given time and will come good. But there's no excusing that transfer business (or lack of)

I don't even think most are incompetent. it's a hard job and they're under an awful lot of scrutiny and pressure to get stuff right. Friend is an exception though. He's just bad. I also watched Coventry vs Bradford a couple of weeks ago (international break so they were on telly) with my best mate who is a cov fan, unfortunately. That's League 1, and the ref was terrible in that game too, for both sides. Who was it? Kevin Friend.

Not a bad shout, or at least have a go on one for a bit. They really do look like a very good phone for the budget.

I still think he's a good player, and can be a very good player. But he needs to be taken off set pieces. It's making him look bad.

Kevin Friend has been terrible everytime I've seen him this season. That Wes Brown "sending off". My mate told me about it before I'd seen it. My first question was "Was the ref Kevin Friend?" It was.

This is how the final one ended up. Unfortunately it fell over in transit so the "tomatoes" were a bit ruined. But I think it still ended up ok

He wasn't demoted. He was 4th official the week after, a duty he'd been scheduled to perform for weeks.

The argument at the time was that we should have signed Berbatov instead of Benteke. That is still a ludicrous suggestion.

Cole is so consistent that he's now underrated, imo. He's still a fantastic defender. As good as Baines is, I'd still have Cole as first choice.

I've had a few issues of pop up, like some scenery not loading and then suddenly appearing. But it's rare. Only other thing is the occasional very long loading time (relatively speaking) when switching characters. Other than that it's been flawless.

I just leave them on my phone, although they do automatically upload to DropBox so I don't really have to. But I have 700+ photos on my phone (GS3 so good quality pics) and that's only just over 1gb

I think Euro 2004 was a genuine chance to win something. That England team was decent, we had Rooney exploding onto the scene and a decent run to the final. if we'd gotten past Portugal (which we really should have) it was Holland (who got soundly beaten by Portugal IIRC in the semis) and Greece in the final. That's the last time I actually thought we could win anything. I think that and Euro 96 are the only 2 times we've had genuine chances (in my lifetime) beyond blind optimism.

Was there any speculation over the summer about a move for Lowton? I can't help but think maybe someone came in for him, Lambert said no and they fell out about it. It's just so strange that he was more or less an ever present last season and this season he's outcast. Pure speculation of course. I'm guessing.

I'd normally be the same. But my sd card broke about 6 months ago so I've been down to 16gb (my phone's capacity) since then, and it hasn't bothered me. With google music and dropbox etc I don't really need that much. Would second hand bother you? My mom's just got one off ebay for £170. Second hand but in perfect condition (the guy had kept the plastic film things you get when you buy it on the whole time he'd used it. Obviously you have to be careful, but they're decent ones out there.

I'm not sure you can say the result would have been 1-1. We were soundly beaten, penalty decisions or not. That doesn't take away from the fact that they were shocking decisions and we'd have certainly had a better chance if he'd called them right.

Levi. what ARE you on about??? A Markov Chain (in this context) is basically a text generator. You train it by feeding it a corpus of text. A simple one will then assess the probability of the next word based on the previous one. Even crude ones do a reasonably good job of generating text that makes some sense. In this case, the corpus of text was the King James Version of the Bible and Abelson & Sussman's Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs. Like when you just keep hitting space on your phone and it inserts the next probable word? I have to agree that that is fun
