I hadn't bothered to check the other factors which is why I didn't put them. Another browser: tried IE, can't even see the banner ad (not sure why) so don't know. Cache: cleared it, seems to work. However I only ever notice it when I have a "like" so I'll check again when someone likes a post of mine.

Because they always auto update at the most inconvenient time imaginable, it's as if it sits there thinking "I COULD update the apps now, but I'm pretty sure he'll want to send an email in 5 minutes so I'll wait until then" And it runs really slow when it's doing it so it was a pain in the arse. I had it set to auto update for about a year, but it annoyed me enough that I changed it back.

I get the OP's problem.It's only the BetVictor advert that does it. Windows Vista and Chrome by the way. I get this too, but only when browsing the full site (as in not mobile version) on my phone. It is pretty annoying, but the mobile version is there if it's too much of a problem to handle.

I think if your apps were all up to date it would have been fine. So that's my advice to anyone with an S3. If you haven't updated yet, make sure your apps are up to date before you do!

I've managed to get my maxes back up to where they were after my last bulk... just as I'm about to finish this one typical, but my job this time is to hold onto those maxes when I cut. Cut should be shorter this time so that will help.

Oh the cynical thing wasn't really relating to Geordie Shore etc. That is garbage TV and I'm totally comfortable with people hating it. I should hate it, but it's one of those guilty pleasures. As long as you don't take yourself too seriously I think it's fine to enjoy that sort of stuff every now and then. Thing is, VA, you're comparing the most interesting fords ever made to bog standard VWs and Audis. It's like saying English women are more attractive than Swedish women because Kelly Brooke is fitter than some bang average woman who happens to live in Stockholm. Yeah Ford have made some lovely cars. But if you're comparing the "normal" everyday cars that most people drive, Ford are boring as ****. That's not to say they aren't good, reliable, good looking cars. It's just that they're common (and I mean common in that lots of people have them, not common as in they're for chavs), uninteresting and uninspiring. Is a Ford Mustang better than an Audi A1? Of course it is. But that's not a very fair comparison.

My S3 went mental with the most recent update. Everything google related crashed. Google Now, Google +, Google keyboard, everything. Phone went mega slow, got stuck when it rebooted, and just crashed at every opportunity. Managed to get it working by force stopping some apps then updating every app that needed updating. Bit of a ball ache though. My phone was unusable for about 2 hours. It's alright now though. And it looks prettier

Think it was a survey early this year. A load of German brands were in the bottom 10. Dunno about the reliability of the survey. But Jaguar and land Rover were both in the top 10, so I can only assume it was definitely 100% accurate.

Whilst it's not high brow viewing, I can relate to the things that go on in the programme, so that makes it watchable for me. and Holly Hagan, one assumes one would.
