  1. The snip can be "failures" as well can't they? I'm not being funny, but how hard can it be?
  2. My sister got a new Moto g today (I recommended it after reading this thread ) Looks like a brilliant little phone for the money. She's chuffed to bits with it But then again she's had some shite sony phone for the past 4 years so she'd probably have been chuffed with anything
  3. Another one I play as a drinking game (Pokemon Stadium 2 is decent too). Used to play it at uni before we got Mario Party. My mates laughed at me when I suggested it. They soon apologised
  4. Have you tried playing on one recently? The framerate is shocking, it's amazing how back in the day you just don't even think about those things but try playing Goldeneye now, I can't do it. I worked on the XBLA HD remake of Perfect Dark (which was a lot of fun) and we played on the original version in preparation. The difference is unbelievable framerate-wise. It was a brilliant console though, takes me back to some of my favourite days of my life. I play mine regularly. Mario Party, WWF No Mercy, Mario Kart, Perfect Dark all still get played. Drinking Mario Party is literally the best drinking game I've ever played. What? No Zelda, Goldeneye Micro machines or Mario64????? You need to get more with it! I have all them and played the shit out of them. I've played through Ocarina of Time 4 times (if you include the master quest) The ones I listed are the ones I still go back and play regularly. Zelda and mario aren't really games you can pick up and play for an hour and not touch again for a few weeks. Goldeneye was first, but Perfect Dark is actually a much better game
  5. This is what I was going to say. If I ever saw anyone in cowboy boots I'd think they were a grade A arsehole to be honest. But I wear Toms, so what do I know?!
  6. To be fair, he did have an influence on sport. Maybe not football directly (although wasn't he involved in South Africa's bid for the 2010 world cup?) but certainly the sporting world. I don't think sport paying tribute is particularly OTT.
  7. I use a barber's. I think anything more than that on my hair would be a tad excessive
  8. I'd take him back, but it's a pointless discussion. It's never gonna happen. Wages are too high and not the kind of player Lambert is looking at, imo
  9. The thing is, it would get abused if keepers weren't sent off for those fouls. Keepers would just start cynically fouling attackers because they won't get a red for it. Be more leniant? Yeah I can live with that. BUt let them off reds completely for those challenges? No
  10. Those worried about these tactics in the long term are assuming these are the tactics we'll be using in the long term. You think you're being long term, but I'd actually say you're being very short sighted.
  11. Oh theres plenty of fan boys in here check most of the posts on this page. Are you including me in that? (I ask because I was sort of half defending the playstation) If so, then you're definition of a fanboy is way off. Nope, i wasn't but to be honest i dont want to get into a debate on it anyway its such a pathetic argument anyway. Me then? Because I'm in the same boat as Steve. I have no loyalty either way, I don't own either system yet. When I do it will be the PS4 because it's the better spec machine, it's the cheaper machine and the Kinnect holds absolutely no interest for me. Well it's either you, me or P3te. And P3te's a game journalist isn't he so I'd be surprised if he was a fanboy. Bizarre really. Does defending something make you a fanboy?
  12. 157.5 kg tonight. Baby steps. 160 next week.

  14. It's a myth that those officials don't do anything. They do plenty. Just because they're not blowing whistles or waving flags doesn't mean they're not doing anything.
  15. If I haven't played my wildcard yet, do I keep it beyond January or does it disappear?
  16. Really? I thought Pro Evo 6 (I had it on 360) was the start of their decline. It was an awful game.
  17. 17th with 13 points at this point last year. It's nice to be a bit more comfortable going into xmas!
  18. Depends how new obviously but you can never go wrong with a Jo Malone candle, girlies seem to love them but its not overly personal. I have no idea what that is, but thanks Edit: After googling, it's just a scented candle? But one that costs £40? Ehhhh... ... no
  19. Giving money is more expensive though. You can get away with a cheap(er) present as long as it's thoughtful. If you give money I always feel like you need to give more.
  20. Seriously, this whistler in my office is gonna get a punch. It's not even tunes that he whistles. Just bursts of random notes. I think I'll start with an anonymous note and escalate from there
