  1. I can get behind this explanation, it makes a lot of sense to me. The Saudi hit squad wanted to brutally murder him and chop his fingers off with a bone saw and he didn’t want to be brutally murdered with his fingers being chopped off with a bone saw, hence the fight.
  2. That's like asking Bruce Lee to do a couple of kung fu moves. You don't challenge a man in his specialist subject.
  3. No doubt he will cling on to his job for another day, but if we want anything other than mid table this season we need to get rid of him now.
  4. Where has this thing that Tuanzebe is a right back come from? Thought we were all criticising Bruce for thinking this?
  5. Hard to assess as Rotherham were putting men behind the ball and playing on the break. Felt comfortable yet they could have easily have equalised at 1-0. Felt Kodjia, El Ghazi and Hourihane faded in the second half but McGinn and Grealish came into the game more. It was disjointed but that's no real surprise when every transfer window we seem to change half the team. I hope we can start to find a rhythm now but I'm not confident that we will.
  6. Hard to tell if he has potential because clearly he's not a right back and he was caught positionally on several occasions. Think he's worth a go in the centre but he's a liability playing as a full back.
  7. The other thing is that he was always going to have a honeymoon period just because he wasn’t Alan Pardew. I imagine going in after Pardew must be the best job a football manager can get, you are a hero from the off.
  8. Imagine my delight earlier when getting lost in a youtube labyrinth, I spot @The_Rev starring in a video. Not only that, I now know all there is to know about Polesworth station, win-win for me.
  9. I wanted Bruce to go simply because I can’t see us competing at the top of the league with him in charge. We’ve lost 3 of our 5 best players last season with the other 2 heavily linked to moves away so a mid table finish with Bruce seems inenvitable. I would personally rather have taken a gamble and given Henry a go, at the very least he may have got the team playing with some attacking intent.
  10. Really looking forward to seeing Villa Park on next series of ‘Can’t pay? We’ll take it away’.
  11. Awful news, RIP Jlloyd. Think this one hits home a bit more for me because he’s not far off my age and I drive down that road regularly. So sad that young kids have to deal with such a traumatic event, my thoughts are with his family.
  12. There was a documentary on Waco on Channel 5 the other night. Turns out that one of the few survivors, Derek Lovelock regularly comes into my place of work. Just today he asked me where we keep the squirty cream. Still considers himself a Branch Davidian too. Very weird.
  13. Not a fantastic performance but given the schedule recently I can forgive a few of the players who have been involved in most games looking a bit tired. Felt comfortable but will need to be able to step it up a gear for the playoffs.
  14. Getting there, think one of the main objectives over the next few matches will be to get him fully match fit and ready for the playoffs.
  15. One thing you can say about Warnock is he knows how to mould a team in his own image; nasty and ugly.
  16. I doubled up on my virtual prophylactic and entered a sha forum. Fair to say they are whinging and moaning and desperately trying to deflect from the fact that we are just much better than them. The common complaints seem to be that the ref was against them, the co-commentator was against them, our players were 'diving' regularly and that we have spent loads of money and they've spent absolutely nothing. I love it when they are this salty, shows they are absolutely gutted that they lost to us.
  17. The ref in that game was absolutely shocking, how sha kept 11 men on the pitch I'll never know.
  18. Future England keeper. Regardless of whether we get promoted he will be starting in the Premier League next season.
  19. Not bad for one of the worst players to ever play for the club.
  20. Even worse, Lescott is a pundit.
  21. There’s nowhere in the offside law which states that the keeper must be judged to be able to save the shot for it be offside. He is definitely obstructing the goalkeeper’s view, however to me he looks just about onside.
  22. They've won one game (against Sunderland) since the 4th November, so exactly the sort of game we will lose.
  23. If the tabloids tell them it’s a good deal for the UK then they will believe it. It doesn’t matter what the reality is as long as we have ‘taken back control’ in the popular press.

    Keinan Davis

I know what you mean and I would agree more if our central midfielders were making runs off him more consistently. I feel like Adomah has mainly benefited from running onto through balls rather than Davis' hold up play but regardless, I think we can both agree we could do with a striker or two getting fit sharpish.

Fair enough, that's what opinions are all about. I probably didn't emphasise my main point which is that having a youngster as our only fit striker is a worry because ultimately he will naturally have poor games as well as being knackered from the championship schedule. He's doing very well but we can't rely on him solely because he's bound to have his off days.
