    Keinan Davis

He's young, inexperienced and seems like he generally suits playing another forward. Really need another forward fit to play alongside him as I don't think we can rely on him alone for much longer.
  2. Yep it was in the Birmingham Mail, their fans seem to think they are being targeted and that's the reason why
  3. I just typed out a whole paragraph about how she should deal with her marriage first before you consider a relationship and then deleted it because it sounded a bit preachy. I think it's probably better to tell you about my experience being on the other end. I've been in 2 long term relationship in which I was cheated on. Both times I now know I was basically described as a poor boyfriend with little in common with my girlfriend. This was definitely not the case as both times we were extremely close when we first together (similar to how you describe your relationship now) but of course after years things calm down, routines set in, little gripes are not uncommon. I'm pretty sure that in both case they told the other bloke involved how terrible the relationship was not only to make him feel less uncomfortable about it but more importantly make themselves feel less guilty. Both times they were sleeping with me whilst tell the other guy that we weren't sharing beds or that we'd completely grown apart. I can look on it now and see that clearly it was for the best but at the time it was heartbreaking and can still say that it affects me a decade on. Its probably worth pointing out that in both cases they are not with the person they broke up with me for despite them apparently being 'soulmates'. Ultimately it's up to you how you play and most of the time people go with their hearts rather than their heads in this situation but as others how pointed out it's not a particularly unfamiliar story. My advice in my original post ended that you should take a step back and see what decision she makes about her marriage before you get any more deeply involved, I'd still recommend that becaus ultimately she should split up with hubby because she's unhappy with the way that relationship is going, rather than because she wants to be with you.
  4. Don't worry that gets better. Have you got one of those next to me cribs? One of our best buys, didn't settle well in a Moses basket and didn't want to risk co-sleeping. They're not cheap but have a decent resale value. If you're like me everything is new and a bit scary at this stage but give it a few weeks and it all fits into place. They are not as brittle and vulnerable as you think and they calm down (a bit) once they are used to the outside world. Enjoy it while you can, they get big quick!
  5. Good first half, poor second. Not much has changed, but at least we are picking up the points now. Kodjia is so important for us, one of the only players we have who seems to be able to carry the ball, set up the first and won the free kick for the second. Bruce better pray he doesn't get injured again.
  6. Grew in confidence towards the end of last season and looks excellent this one. Must be a real confidence booster having Terry there marshalling the defence.
  7. Oh and shout out to the Boro players for their top time wasting tactics, our boys could learn a thing or two.
  8. Crap performance, crap tactics, crap officiating. Yet another night which makes me wonder why I continue to watch football.
  9. Really think he will continue to grow as he gets more first team experience, he is the (loan) signing of the summer so far for me.
  10. It infuriates me that he takes so long to make a change. We score and should be pushing for the winner instead we wait for Bristol to make a change and until it's too late to really have an impact on the game. I'm not surprised that we aren't particularly pushing for the win when our manager seems happy to play for a draw and keeps talking us down.
  11. Adomah definitely offers a lot more going forward whilst Elmo is more defensively solid. I think the fact he starts Elmo probably says a lot about Bruce's mindset.
  12. Yep, pretty much this. He definitely brings energy to the team but his end product needs some work.
  13. Ahh the new scapegoat then. Made the wrong decision a couple of times but looked lively, certainly more than Green who looked pretty anonymous for most of the game.
  14. I also can't help but feel that it would seriously help our chances in the league to have a mechanoid in the squad.
  15. Didn't some of the lads on here play with him in a VT five-a-side team? Would be incredible to see him in a Villa shirt, fingers crossed.
  16. I know it's obvious but 2 things were very evident. Firstly, we are awful at killing off games when we are on top. If we expect to go up we need to be much more ruthless. Secondly, we were blowing after 50 minutes. All this talk of how hard the training for pre season had been but we handed back the momentum to them in the second half and allowed them into the game. On a sidenote, Hutton was excellent and definitely deserved MOTM.

    Podcasts

Genuinely gutted James Richardson and producer Ben are leaving Football Weekly. Making a new podcast with Iain Macintosh so hopefully it will just mean an extra football podcast each week but can't help but feel it won't be quite the same.
  18. I read a Hull forum when we signed him and a few members posted that Bruce used this as a definite tactic, aim the goal kick to him and more often than not he'd win the flick on.
  19. I see Redknapp is giving it the old 'we are way off where we need to be' in order to force some more cash for new signings on high wages. He will leave them like he's left the majority of the clubs he's worked at.
  20. (Not so) Little Louis was born this morning weighing 9lbs 4oz after a fairly horrendous 21 hour induced labour. Very proud and emotional day.
  21. Wife is into second day of hospital as she is being induced. Man, this part is dull. Who would have thought there would be so much waiting? Suppose I should appreciate having nothing to do while I still can.
  22. Never seemed the same player to me after the injury. Having such a terrible injury at such a crucial stage of his development is massively unfortunate however in a less physical league with better players around him he may well get back on track.
  23. Tried this but when I clicked on the offer it didn't apply to my account. When I used that link they said it was only for sky+ users and biggest discount on sky q was 25%
  24. Cancelled my TV, saw a discount for 50% off but it's for sky+ rather than Q, when I went onto live chat they would only give me 25% off. I would bin the whole thing off but the I use the multi room a hell of a lot. Can't decide whether to just take the 25% off or to hang on a bit
  25. This is what I was referring to. I'd missed the article in the Express because it's not front page.
