  1. at a guess - the £10mill from W88, the £1mill from BR88... against the 50p we probably got in the Championship
  2. W88 - I saw £10million being mentioned in a couple of places.
  3. ahem... only if they let us actually buy season tickets!
  4. Come on Villa - open the ticket office!
  5. For a multi-million pound contract, i'm sure one of our staff (and his agent) can catch a Ryanair flight to the beach he is lying on. (*other airlines are also available)
  6. Whilst i hope you are right, i think you'll be disappointed as it seems pretty unrealistic. Mid-table (ie: 8-12th?) in the first season back?! Realistically, i think everyone knows its about trying to finish 17th and then building in future seasons from there. We've currently got 2 players who are possibly mid-table players.
  7. and Chester might be broken. and Taylor might not actually be Premier League standard.
  8. well i've never had a season ticket before, and usually only go to around 2 games per season. It would have just been the excitement of getting promoted that would have made me buy them. now its back to the logic of it all, which weekends will i be busy, how many matches i'll miss, whether its better to just pick and choose the matches i want to go to, etc. basically heart vs head.
  9. I would 100% have bought 2 season tickets after the play-off final. For the first time ever. Now me and my mate are not sure if that's the right decision or not. We will look at the fixtures first and then see what we will miss during the season. then decide.
  10. Bournemouth in 14th finished 9 points clear of relegation. The 6 teams below, 3 survived and 3 got relegated. They were the 6 that were really in the survival battle. We'll be in that group next year, and history shows us that the play-off winners have the most likelyhood of going straight back down. The bookies put us at 4th favourite for relegation though, so thats a positive note - if they are correct, we'd finish 17th
  11. ohhhhh, hahahaha. Let me try and explain, but not sure i can put it into words. I'm really happy and optimistic at the moment and on a high from getting back to the Premier League. But i am aware that realistically we are on to finish 17th-20th. The category of 11-17th just felt wrong as that could imply mid-table rather than staying up by 1 point on the final day of the season. I'd be over the moon if we can finish 17th, but i do have a niggling worry that we will finish 18th.
  12. My top 10 in no particular order: Friends The Vampire Diaries 24 Lost Suits Breaking Bad Battlestar Galactica Entourage Game of Thrones The 100
  13. GOT had potential to be #1... but they completely blew it in the final season.
  14. the coefficient now counts towards how much money you receive from the 'coefficient pot'.
  15. Why haven't they opened selling season tickets again? They should have been available to buy within an hour of winning the play-offs! People would have bought them whilst they were on a high!
  16. I'd assume they'll leave it in the trust/shell company for a while until all the FFP talk has died down after a couple of years of being in the Premier League. Transfer the stadium back quietly once last season drops out of the 3 year cycle.
  17. Maybe loan him out if we can’t sell him
  18. David Cameron Mervyn King - used to run the Bank of England
  19. Out of interest, how old is Jota?

@TrentVillaWhat makes you think this? Is it just a gut feeling, or something more than that?
