  1. They should use VAR with an appeals system... the manager or captain gets 2 appeals per match to request VAR.
  2. I think thats the aim. Need to keep collecting a few points here and there to stay ahead of 3 other teams. I can't see Newcastle falling that much though, they still have a decent enough team even without Benitez.
  3. I think the gap is bigger than most of us think. Look at the 5 previous play-off winners - 4 got relegated immediately, and 1 lasted an extra season before being relegated. That's despite some of them spending many tens of millions of pounds to strengthen their championship team.
  4. But we get Premier League football TBH, even with the increase in price i think we are at the lower end of Premier league ticket pricing.
  5. everyone does except maybe the biggest 5 clubs in the world. Also you want players that even if they don't become great players for us, we can sell them on for a reasonable fee without taking a huge loss.
  6. I'll be very happy with 17th. Might scrape 16th with a bit of luck. Could very easily finish 20th.
  7. I'm not that bothered with paying the current license fee, and i like the idea of a public broadcaster... but if it moved to a subscription service at £5/month, i wouldn't bother to subscribe. I might have watched 5 things on the BBC in the last 5 years, and don't think i'd particularly miss any of them.
  8. Thanks. According to the website there are now 4,682 tickets available so not sure whats going on there.
  9. i'm confused - not sure how this calculates?
  10. Upper Trinity - 3,273, Lower Trinity - 108, North - 375, Doug Ellis - 1,006, Holte - 214 = Total - 4,976 So 5,000 ST left - i think that includes the re-seating options, as Holte now has more available than they did yesterday. 3,000 for away fans. 1,000 corporate. 5,000 seats held for individual sale purposes. 42k ground, which would mean 28,000 season tickets sold. Is that roughly the position?
  11. Plus the blocks not yet released until after the existing ST re-seating happens on June 29th.
  12. So they've released another 3,000+ season tickets in the Upper Trinity - 3,273 left now.
  13. ah ok, yesterday morning they hadn't. Looks like once the rest had pretty much gone, then they opened the Upper part.
  14. They haven't even opened the Upper Trinity at all for season tickets. Plus there must be blocks in each stand for existing season ticket holders to change seats. It looked like they released 2,000 season tickets yesterday, so assuming we sold 20,000 in the early bird sale, we've now sold around 22,000.
  15. Thats the queue number, not your place in the queue!
  16. 15 mins later: Doug Ellis - 824 (was 1,040) North - 223 (was 380) Holte - 18 (was 25) Trinity - 2 (was 2) Total - 1,067 left (was 1,447)
  17. early bird discounts again i suppose (but closing the gap somewhat)
  18. cheapest £483 (£25 per match) mid-range - £515 (£27 per match) expensive - £615 (£32 per match) most expensive - £684 (£36 per match)
  19. Season tickets left: Doug Ellis - 1040 North - 380 Holte - 25 Trinity - 2 Total - 1,447 left (Upper Trinity just says locked, so they may open that later)
  20. very weird, its letting me select seats in the away section!
  21. Season tickets are open for sale. I'm #557 in the queue!
