We definately have to sign a striker.I mean what happens if Watkins is out for 4/6 weeks ( or, heaven forbid more ) that leaves us Wesley and Davis.IMHO in a 6 week period you could count on Davis scoring 1 goal and Wesley, maybe 2 at most.So without another proven striker we would right up the greek without a paddle.

I hate it when people like Hutton,Gabby and that midfielder from Stoke that joined us for i season go blabbing on about who we should sign and who would be a great fit and even which club they should sign for.FFS if they are that good then why arnt they managibg a team at the top of a league somewhere ?

My fave sport is Soccer but I feel I must stick up for baseball here.I played centrefield for Marist and scored a total of 2 home runs ( both against Henderson Bears ) the thing is that the game is good ( not great but good ) Obviously to enjoy it you must know what is going on. To watch,or take part in a double play is fantastic and with all the pinch hitters and different type of pitches etc the game is far from booring. The game I cant understand is Basketball.One team scores then both teams run to the other end and score then rinse and repeat.FFS there is NO midfield ?! Why dont they just use one set of goalposts and save a lot of running around ?

They have had aome decent results recently. I feel a 1-0 win for us comming on.

Well,when this pandemic is over I am seriously thinking of going on holiday in New Zealand and going up a mountain somewhere ( where they ski ) and having a look at real snow.

I remember playing Subbuteo about 100 years ago.Two friends and myself had 2 teams each,my teams were Aston Villa and Palermo.I remember Palermo finished first and Villa second.

Are the PL trying to drive fans away? first VAR and now this.Football will not be worth watching at all soon,if this trend carries on.

IMHO the CL became a joke when they expanded it so that the team that finished 4th in the PL could qualify for the CL.What right has a team that finished 4th got to play in a Champions league ? FFS.It should be for league champions only ( like it used to be )Next thing you know is that the bottom 3 teams will go down and all the other teams will qualify for the CL.

When I think about it,and when you put it like that then all I can say is that you are exactly right.I like watching the games but I am not interested enough to go on the net and research all the players in any given team.I suppose you could say that I am following certain quarterbacks because I was lucky enough to actually watch the Patriots play New Orleans Rams in London in 2012 but since Brady left I have only watched them twice but have watched all the Buccaneers games.I must say though that although I dont know any of the Clemsen players I have watched every one of their games that has been on TV for about the last 7 years.

I havent jumped off the Patriots ship as you say and I am not a glory hunter.What you have to take into consideration is that if you live overseas ( Im in Perth W.Australia ) we dont get the stats of who is the best WR or which TE has the most yards etc etc etc.Over here you watch the game and because of all the substutes you can only keep track of the QB and the way the team plays.Seems to me that BG play really good with A.Rodgers and the Patriots played really good with Brady BUT since Brady has gone to the Buccaneers,they look better than the Patriots now.KC look virtually unbeatable since they got Nanhomes.So I watch the teams that play good,I must say though ( as I mentioned above ) I like the Colts even though they have never won anything that I know of. I have been Watching Clemson for about 7 years but I must admit Ohio played really well against them and I watched Ohio play Alabama.That does not make me an Ohio supporter I just thought they played well this season.

I agree,our midfielders score more than their share of goals but I would be happier if we could bring in a striker.

I think we may have to park the buss for this one and get our fitness back by running around after their players and trying to get the ball back.

We seem to be concentrating on midfielders.What happened to getting a striker in ?! If Watkins gets injured we are right up the creek without a paddle ( we could even go down ) there is half a season to go yet,thats a lot of points we could get or drop.

My answer to VAR is that I now record the Villa games and watch them the next day.That way if there is a VAR decision to be made I fast foreward to where the decision has been made and play carries on.This is working out quite good for me,especially as there are no crowds there so the atmosfere is missing anyway.

I follow Clemson and in the NFL I used to follow the Patriots till they got rid of Brady.I now follow KC Chiefs ( mainly because of Nanhomes ) and I have a soft spot for the not very good Colts.I must admit though I enjoy watching Aaron Rodgers at Green bay and checking how the Buccaneers are doing now with Brady there.

I watched Clemson get beaten by Ohio state and I noticed ( I have noticed this before ) that sometimes a team has little symbols all over the side and back of their helmit.Not all teams have this.What do these symbols represent ?
